Wheel type gear uses the same character model animations as air rider type gear, with some exceptions like the ones Brian S mentioned. This means they also share the same victory and loss animations, as well as the same pose when using gravity control. Since Eggman doesn't use air rider type gear, all of his animations come from him riding bike type gear.

his walk is what spins the air rider around. he kicks it sideways and uses the walk momentum to move it like a wheel.

and little did they know, that all there fancy tricks meant for not, as the next riders game would be such poopy, that they all died sick tricks though, always liked the tricks in ZG, liked controlling the tricks in the first riders better though

Yeah and also in the first you can manage where you want to go somewhat by holding forward for a path that’s farther or down for one that’s higher while doing the jump button. Also won’t ever forget that easy X rank bug that involves a sequence of tricks going up, left/right, down then again for 2 down tricks in one.

Is not just the tricks but they twitch drifting with an easy gravity break, they too the air maintenance away, and the speed/fly passages are actually surely faster to take unlike the first riders where people will pass you even taking those routes The game is dumb down in all areas I don't hate zero gravity but if I were to play either with my friends zero gravity won't last long

Wave - Board, though Bike and Yacht are decently close. Storm - Air Ride, though Board and Bike are both really close. Cream - Air Ride, though Skates and Yacht come close. Rouge - Air Ride, though Board and Yacht come close. Shadow - Skates. All of his tricks are really good, though. Silver - Air Ride, though it's a close race between everything except Board. Blaze - Skates, though Bike and Yacht come close. Nights - Air Ride, though all of these tricks are either good tricks or good references. Amigo - Bike, I guess, but all these tricks bleed together. Billy - Skates, though it's a close race between everything except Bike. Super Sonic, Eggman, and Robots only have one.

Air Rides and Wheels are the same except for Sonic, Tails and Eggman. Eggman's Wheel is the same as Bike, while Sonic and Tails are the only characters with different Wheel animations.

I would've loved to see Super Sonic have more Extreme Gear than just Boards because he seems really stylish thanks to his power of Flight.

The ones I came here to watch 1. 1:36-1:37 that’s my trick Queen 2. 3:26-3:28 3. 4:15-4:18 4. 7:22-7:25 fucking beautiful so elegant 5. 9:10-9:12 the only Blaze Trick I’ve never seen since I don’t use the Yacht Gear type and I don’t use the Wheel gear type either I’m more used to the Boards, Air Rides, Bikes and Skates cuz their much easier to control rather then the Yachts and Wheels.

The animations in the first two riders games were top notch.

Shadow on skates is literally him running normally but slower

NiGHTS Definitely had the best Yatch X trick. Still had not thought about how there were so many more X tricks I had not seen even though this was my favorite game. I swore I knew it in and out 😂

I just remembered that in this game Sega made Amy’s Tricks make her look like a Show off minus Amy’s Skates X Trick and I love them for it as well for the Cleanness for Blaze’s ones

I had to wait till the bikes, but Amy had the most unique tricks. On board she curls into a pollen who then does ballerina, on the air glider she's a trapeze artist, and on bike she does a cartwheel tantrum. Storm's not bad either. Upside down on the board and spins it, on the air glider he's a egyptian, and ofc he does good on the bike - a screw driver caught in a tornado. And they're decent enough on skates and wind glider, but to be fair they're all bland on those two gears.

Point of the video: Everyone in the Sonic universe has got MAD skills. Not all of em are as fast as Sonic, but MY GOD are they as agile as him. Just goes to show that not all of them have the superspeed, but they DO have the hyper-perception needed to do all those flips and spins MIDAIR.

You know what would’ve been extra? Adding in the Miis to the non-Story Mode modes.

ScientistCat yes, I did that because, normally they do tricks with their gear, but with the skates they do with their bodies because they have no gear, and so do the robots, that's why

Imo Blaze’s Board X Trick is the best one plus she’s my Trick Queen in ZG so I get her Board X trick quite often. Especially on Gigan Rocks on the Ramps in the Wind Section at the beginning of the Track where your character goes Super Fast cuz of the Wind. List of my Fav X Tricks 1. Blaze Board X Trick 2.
