So here we have Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, it's a sequel to Sonic riders which was one of the most absurdly difficult racers ever conceived. Thankfully Sonic team took notice that nobody liked the first one and mede sure that the sequel was actually suitable for human consumption and they succeeded. Not only is this game prettier than the original but it's also got a much more fair difficulty, really fun maps with very low secret bullshit scale, perfect camerawork and new fun mechanics. The new thing in this game is the ability to manipulate the gravity, you can either use it to do a mad drift of fly through the air while dragging objects with you on which you can grind to gain more speed. That accompanied by a sudden beautifully transitioned music change makes it an incredibly fun mechanic to use. The game runs at a very smooth framerate even on the poor old Toaster Station 2 at the cost of having lower color definition than the Wii port. The 2 ports are pretty similar, especially with the Wii version having support for the gamecube controller. I highly recommend giving this game a go it's dirt cheap and a fun way to spend a few hours alone or play together with friends (even the PS2 version supports up to 4 players which is a rarity)

Sonic Riders difficult? Where? You only need to take "secret" routes in missions, in other cases you won't need them to beat shit out of AI. All of these mechanics in SR ZG would be great if they wouldn't reduce speed of gear to tractor, delete performing tricks and adding automatic grabbing rails after jump. Overall it feels very dumbed down compared to the original.

It saddens me Knuckles is turned into goofball. He's actually very intelligent. He can read ancient inscryptions and translate them. He's treasure hunter for a reason.

2:30 I always found it funny that Tails and Knuckles were gonna let Sonic fall to his death. I mean, I know it's for the sake of the plot and showing off zero gravity, but you'd think they'd at least chase after him for a bit.

Yeah, but there's no fall damage in the Sonic universe and they were probably aware of that.

I completed this 100% and it was awesome, great memories. Unfortunatly it's a very short and repetitive game.

The track just hits a very special place in the soul. A futuristic and playful utopia, gazzilion-litters of clean & fresh water rushing for pure fun and excitement. I can just almost feel the splashy breeze of that place.

Lets take a moment to appreciate Storm. He is loyal to Jet, giving him valuable information to him and going out of his way to please Jet. and yet he is treated like a dumb meathead. all in all, Storm is the best character. Not to mention he is ,in most cases, polite and only wants appreciation.
