I didn't realize there was a second version, sorry! Same goes for the later opening of X-Men: Evolution. I totally blanked on that one.

@@FireIsTheCIeanser 90s X-Men's original US version had a second intro as well. Shorter with a remixed theme. There's also the new X-Men 97 series which updates the intro with every episode - when that series finishes, it'll be time for an updated version of this video, I reckon.

Wolverine and the X-Men is an instant classic that deserves one more season. I want my fight with Apocalypse.

Nothing can beat that 90's electric guitar.

Yeah, me too. It was the one I was old enough to get to see when it first aired. Though once I was a little older I got the chance to watch X-Men Evolution and it became my favorite. Still, the premise of this show was really interesting to me and I think it deserved a second season.

X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men were pretty great shows but you can't beat the masterpiece that is X-Men: The Animated Series. Edit: X-Men '97 is now streaming in Disney+. No Spoilers!

I absolutely love the Wolverine and the X-Men intro as it tells you pretty much everything that you need to know about the show storyline that this is a world where mutants exist much like every other X-Men series however much like the movies mutants have no rights plus it was very sickening seeing those MRD soldiers about to kill those two children just for being mutants before Wolverine showed up presumingly decapitating those soldiers

If you didn't grow up as a kid watching this then you missed a big part of your childhood, plus wolverine has always been a fan favourite

The 90 s x men was the best but evolution is defo second watched both and enjoyed them

I loved both!! Especially because the latter introduced Evan Daniels aka Spyke

The 3 main show all work if you have seen the previous series Each show is very aware of the previous incarnation X-Men Evolution becomes so much more cool and refreshing if you’ve seen the very comics influenced X-Men TAS, and Wolverine and the X-Men is a great culmination of everything X-Men and is back to more classic X-Men after Evolution which was more subverted from what came before All 3 shows are just great and a long with Batman and Spider-Man the X-Men are the comic book characters with the best animated shows

Just a curiosity: is WatX by any means a sequel to Evolution? Most of the main characters seem to be grown up versions of the previous character (besides Storm maybe but idk what's her canonical age)

Very nostalgic to rewatch X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-men. Because those were the two shows that got me into liking the X-Men. Outside the Fox Stuidos movies and Hulk Vs Wolverine.

I find it intresting to see what each version decided to go with as the core team.

@@ekozoidmajiker6186 Yeah, it's a pilot called Pryde of the X-Men, which introduces the team through the eyes of Kitty Pryde. It wasn't picked up for series, so they tried again a few years later with the 1992 show, which had an updated roster to match the 1991 relaunch of the comics. Of course that second time they were successful, and it lasted five years.

The X-Men 97 and the Og intro is still my favourite...

While I was born after X-men the animated series came out it will always be my definitive choice for how they should be depicted, though I do enjoy both Wolverine and the X-men and X-men evolution

Its curious The Wolverine from Pryde of the X Men Pilot will be voiced by a Australian Who say that years later Hugh Jackman a Australian is played Wolverine

Clone Wars 2003 I’ve always saw as the Exaggerated tales of the Clone Wars and the Jedi through the stories told children while The Clone Wars was the actual depiction of the war and the Jedi.

@@CaptainAmercia I disagree its not told from the kids perspective to me its a mix of actual events mixed with others interpretations of events witnessed by civilians because keep in mind alot of the shit we saw them do that 1st season was well within the prequel jedi range and because it was the start of the clones wars they definitely could do that shit it wasn't till the middle and end where they stopped doing alot of shit due to the fact the war became more dangerous and straining on the jedi and clones

My god, have the X-Men ever had a theme that wasn't badass? Even the cheesy Pryde of the X-Men pilot had a fucking awesome theme. The closest would probably be Wolverine & The X-Men. Not a terrible theme, but mediocre compared to the others.

It never was because it's missing the second openings from X-Men 1992, it's Japanese dub, and Evolution. Of course the X-Men 97 openings would now need adding as well.

Why is it that I hear Transformers in the first cartoon theme? It names the anime, which isn't really a bad idea, but then it sings about the main badass (remember the Transformers opening singing about "the evil Decepticons"?). Yea, kids really needed to know, who's the bad guy just from the intro song and not from watching the show back then. XD

1992? It only ever had two OPs. One used for the first four seasons, and a shorter one with a remixed theme used in season 5.

If you mean the third opening in the video, it was just a dub of the 1992 series with new opening and closing titles. The one later on is usually referred to as X-Men Anime, but officially it's also just called X-Men.

I grew up with 1992 series, but why am I cringing at the 1st Japanese intro? I like anime however 😅

While Wolverine and the X-Men was too Logan centric, I love it's battlefield/war Zone style Opening and of course nothing beat X-Men TAS theme song.

Xmen tas and WolverineATXM were the #1 & #2 series. Could'nt get into Xmen Evolution after XTAS.
