I'm going to be completely honest: let's put the Gunsmith and FN2000 and EM1 aside, the rest of the weapons and models in this game are one the best looking models I've ever seen in a WW2 game and i like how they even included many prototype weapons of course it's not realistic nor historically accurate, but not as uncanny as the whole gunsmith feature and those two futuristic weapons

The FN2000 got time travel entered to the WW2 era which Vanguard made it no sense. It should kick in to the MW2022 or MW2023 because FN2000 should come into this modern warfare weapons

Calling Vanguard a "WW2" game is misleading cuz we already have MP maps set in the 1950's so barring the obvious ones like the F2000 and Laser Gun, the guns produced after WW2 kinda makes sense in the game. Not defending Vanguard cuz it's still shit anyway

Nah, most of them are very good looking, but not miles better than other recent WW2 games. Some weapons like the BAR, Type 11 or Thompson have some weird things in their models and animations, and others like the automatic Lee Enfield conversion are somehow fully mirrored. Idk, I think Vanguard was doomed from the beginning, there's not much to redeem about this game.

Great showcase! It's so funny that you actually put some sus sound effects for some guns that don't really fit the WW2 setting. If anyone is curious, here's a full list of these sussy guns: 1:45 - Vargo-S 2:05 - BP50 3:11 - Lienna 57 7:12 - UGM-8 12:09 - RA 225 12:27 - Marco 5 And, of course, the sussiest of them all 20:33 - EX-1

Thank you for doing this. I hate the gun customization for this game, they jacked up the ammo count for some of the guns namely the Lee-Enfield, and they messed up the fore stock for the Bar and added the carry handle for it even though it wasn't used in ww2

Vanguard multiplayer is supposed to pass after the 45's, but there's isn't a fixed date, seeing post 50's guns are not as "out of place" as seeing the F2000 and the EM1 laser. And i blame warzone for this, as the F2000 and the EM1 came along with Menendez (BO2), Rorke (Ghosts), and Seraph(BO3 & 4), obviously SHG didn't care.

Aside from the two very obviously not WW2 weapons, it amazes me just how many other anachronistic weapons are in the game, like there are more unique weapons from other countries during the war but apparently early cold war to modern and futuristic makes more sense 😂

Off topic, but that bird call you hear during the Bren segment is from a Burchell's Coucal. I'm assuming that map is supposed to be El-Alamein, but the furthest north you'll find that bird is Southern Malawi. So, the guns and history aren't the only things the research department at SG screwed up, lol.

I was really bleak they left out weapons like the FG42 and Springfield . Also, it might have not been too historically inaccurate to add the RPD and SKS to the game as both of these had been approved for mass production by the end of the war. Maybe a 1950's setting for this game might not of been too bad of an idea. So many significant historical events to work with that haven’t been included in past games, and a better era for many of the weapons.

Some of these “post war” weapons were still within war time status (except the one from the 2001). The war with Italia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland ends in 1948. The war with Japan (who can barely be considered a German friend) ended in 1952 The war with Germany would end in 1991. There are some though that don’t have any sense in any wartime status.

This game had so much potential

The Only thing that Bothers me the most and how Inaccurate the Weapons are is the Fact that they added the F2000, Why on earth they added that Weapon which the game is set in WW2, the F2000 was designed around the 90s and right up to the early 2000s, tbh the game is not accurate with the weapons on how it should be presented with their respective timelines and also the uniforms from each faction of the game

they had the model, animations and sound design for the Lee Enfield in the campaign, but they didn’t put it in multiplayer?

I don't like this version of modified and cursed weapons but the F2000 should be in modern warfare 2019 and 2022 not in vanguard,but the rest it's good
