All Those Endearing Young Charms
Музыка

Musicians 1st Class Phil Eberly and Bryce Edwards perform on euphonium, and the band is under the direction of Capt. Brian O. Walden.

"When he strikes this note, instead of a xylophone, he'll be playing a harp!"

*plays the song wrong” “That’s wrong, ya dumb bunny! Try it again!” *plays the song wrong again* “OOOOOOHHHH!!!!! NO, NO, YA STUPID RABBIT!!!! LIKE THIS!!!!” *plays the song right, and it explodes*
Only a military band could possibly be brave enough to play such a perilous piece of music, I salute these men and women for taking such a daring risk to bring us these beautiful sounds. Many before them have been blown to smithereens in their attempts, and yet everyone here made it through to the very end. They stood strong, not a single member of the band deserting even as the danger reached its climax. Thank you, US Navy Band! You will be remembered forever!

Bit confused by your comment - why should only Military bands be able to play this music? Other ensembles exist and are fully able to perform music too? You're basically saying that anyone other a Military Band shouldn't be playing this music?

@@ayrtonhockaday Because it's a well known cartoon trope that playing a specific note in this song will cause an explosion.

Delays, delays....
This should be combined with the percussion section from the 1812 Overture at just the right moment for a great Looney Tunes tribute!
where's the dynamite under the piano key? 0:56
I played this for my final audition U S Navy school of music 1953.
BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how every comment is about cartoons
KABOOM!!!!!!!
The Navy knows its way around explosives, so they knew better than using the xylophone to play this song.

True. It's definitely impossible to rig a tuba to have it explode

It's so beautiful. Kudos to the duo 💙
one of my very favourite pieces of irish music. very proud of my country and its soul
Very entertaining performance, comedic and musical. That high pitch at the end was a nice touch.
I can't stop watching this.
Where's the kaboom? There should be a kaboom, 😉

Wow! Quite unexpected.
Bet the xylophone couldn’t hit that note

Or maybe they are smart enough to not use a piano or xylophone wherein someone could rig it with explosives... Unless the person playing the xylophone or piano is smart enough to deliberately hit the wrong key and forces the perpetrator to play the correct key and fall for his own trap
They didn't explode
I found this song like two years ago and have wanted to play it since and now I'm going to play it as my solo next month The next piece I want to play is either apreggione sonata or blue bells of Scotland
