Finding the suspicious clay is extra easy, in fact. The sus clay block can only replace the polished basalt, and polished basalt only spawns along the roadway edges and the building frames...that eliminates 95% of the city. In the building below the Deeper and Darker portal, there's also some polished basalt.

You can activate shriekers 3 times without summoning a Warden, on the 4th activation it will summon one. I thought I'd let you know since I noticed you don't know this in older projects already^^

I just crouched around and used an Ars Nouveau spell with ranged and mining to remove the shriekers. Only sound is from the spell hitting the block but you can cast far enough away that the shriekers won't activate even if you miss and set off the detector things around it.. I can't remember what they are called. lol

If you want to make the warden a joke, there's a cloak accessory that makes you invisible to mobs in the dark, and that includes the warden. However it apparently can corrupt your save if you wear it around piglins or something

I think the angel wing spell is 2.1 minute duration. I thought it was meters too, but no, I think that's just how long the wings stay on

That is correct! That just means how long the wings last before they disappear.

Yeah 2.1 meters is very very short :> 2.1 blocks in minecraft

Just a random note for Iron Spells. You can add the spellbooks to the Eccentric Tome so you can carry more spells around with you if you want.

A tip for finding the suspicious clay: it replaces the smooth basalt in the structure, so just look for the places where you normally find the basalt lining.

i would recommend setting up a spawner for archevokers using the mob swabs for irons spells and spell books. I set it up in my server and i have unlimited scrolls, runes, and legendary ink. this allows me to craft as many max lv legendary spells and makes the combat really trivial. This mod has quickly become one of my favorites. also id use ink to get lightning bolt so you can "make" charged creepers for more bottles.

Also using the nature focus, you can cast Root which is very effective against wardens. they cant move and you can cast fireball, earthquake, and all the big spells from a safe distance and it cant do anything. it also doesnt allow players to teleport so i probably works on mobs too.

If you ever decide to go back to the ancient city or any other really dangerous places, I've heard from fellow ATM9 player SystemCollapse that a Twilight Cloak will prevent the Warden from attacking you when it spawns- even if you punch it. As long as you stay in darkness (and the cloak is activated in the first place). You should easily have the materials needed to craft it because of your mob farm, like the nebulous heart.

I know its late and so but the most powerful spell of Iron's Spellbook Mod in ATM9 is ACUPUNCTURE. With Apotheosis you can use gemslots to upgrade you affinity to certain spells on any gear the unobtainum wizard gear included. The damage per projectile doesnt seem much in comparison to other spells but with higher affinity you also shot more projectiles. This gets buffed even more with the charge spell whereas with godtier armor, enchantments and the highest spellbook which you can also upgrade with apotheosis gems, i have a 800 dmg spell which i can instacast and spam like a machine gun. Oneshots pretty much everything. I have, if i remember right, Acupunctre sitting at 8 dmg per projectile with 97 projectiles per cast

if youre trying to find allthemodium, go into the mining dimension with your quarry, the builder and quarryPlus machines don't mine it you just have to fly down the massive hole and youll see it sitting there :)

That Allthemodium Wizard gear makes you look exactly like Macho Man Randy Savage in his outfit with the hat and tassels. It even looks like you have the sunglasses he wore on. If that is what the mod author took his inspiration from, this will officially be my favorite mod.

In my findings the suspicious clay is always in the basalt edges along the paths, once you figure that out it’s a snap to find them, average probably three to five in each ancient city, always in that decorative basalt trim on the side of the roads/paths.

Its super interesting how often minecraft and terraria intersect.

A bunch of those are literally copying terraria on purpose. The mods have been renamed over time due to changing authors, but iirc the original one was clear about it adding terraria items

The intro made me think of a mod idea I don't think I have ever seen. It reminded me of the Biotic Charge from Mass Effect, which then got me researching if there ever was one that added in the Biotics and maybe the omni-tool. There was a topic made back in 2012 asking if there ever was one but I saw no other topics or info. Maybe you can use the omni-tool similar to Ars Nouveau in that you have to set up the "spells" and have the tool in hand to use them.

On Crying Obsidian: Meteor Craters sometimes have obsidian/crying obsidian shells. Several stacks of each. Keep your eyes (map) peeled for crater impacts while adventuring.

Please do check what the wandering trader has before you kill them, because they might have a really good sword where u can pull out the enchantment later to apply to your mob farm.

They usually spawn the first few minutes when u open the pack if im not mistaken

BTW if you get a little bit into evil craft you can end up putting fortune 5 onto your picks very early game

One of the items included in the Irons Spells and Books is the blood vial so that you can make blood spells. If only there was a more efficient way to do that instead of sticking yourself in a heated cauldron.

Huh, the iron spells mod had some changes since I last looked at it (like baseline, I’m not counting the allthemodium stuff) looks really good now.

So with iron spells and spell books you can get and special anvil that allows you to combine the same scrolls. Also you can use the same anvil to add spells to swords.

At 15:30 I don't think the wings last 2.1 metres but instead last 2.1 minutes. The point 1 may be because your gear is boosting the spell time.

Refined obsidian paxel from mekanism can mine vibranium. Unless changed in newest version.

If you use higher rarity ink for spell when crafting them they will be crafted at the minimum level for that rarity

Players are unreasonably terrified of the warden, but he's actually even easier to fight than an elder guardian despite his ever-present potential to 2-shot you. Just hover above him or otherwise get a chunk-wide barrier he can't cross at least 16 blocks away and lob ranged attacks on him. None of his damage vectors can reach further than 15 blocks away. The blindness effect is more annoying than the warden attacks are.

the sus clay only spawns replacing the exact tiles it replaced in the instance you found. so you only have to check that blocktype

Definitely be careful with Irons spells if you want a balanced run.. Since my last comment I've gotten unobtainium with epic apotheosis, and I'm pretty much unkillable, and even cataclysm bosses don't last too long against me 💀

@@stolyartoad8640 Its not even overly the apotheosis, but unobtainium with mana boost 7 (not even max i dont think) gives +100% spell power per piece, and high level enchantments like that aren't too difficult with a good enough mob farm. apotheosis just makes it easier to be even stronger. Apotheosis just makes you insanely tanky and even lets you build for spells and melee which is insane

there are special slots in equipment items for the spell book

You need to awaken the dead king from Iron Spells and after awakening it by going near it, capture it with ars nouveau containment jar and farm them with drygmy to obtain easy apotheosis gems and gear, as for warden, you need to have the shriekers triggered thrice for the warden to spawn and it will despawb after a minute if it hears no sound

Treasure goblin far better for apotheosis gear and gems. Just need to first get the gem to give it a chance to spawn on hit, then go and attack things till it spawns, capture it (it's easier to capture with the mob capture tool from IF then use containment ritual on it in an enclosed space), dead king gives you tonnes of high tier scrolls and runes

btw , you dont need your bunny boots anymore with your new atm mage armour

As much as I like seeing the other magic mods being shown, the bit and piece way of doing it I don't like. From the other play throughs here and other people have done, they start and later forget it exists early midgame level.

Please limit the use of the jet pack when adventuring it's ruining the feeling of finding things
