I must point this, that this channel had three distinct types of videos, first: the narrations of stories that didn´t exist with the intention to be narrated, we see some of the more ancient tales and videos in these categories. The second is stories that were made to be narrated, however, those stories usually simply couldn't translate the sentiment the original author intended to its full, it is akin to a direct translation from a language to another. However, here, we have something more, the new type, here, we have both the author and the narrator as one. Vox is at the point that he can write incredible pieces of fiction, but also to translate it as the author intended in its fullest. This is a turning point in terms of quality of narration, this is where I can see Paul making his brightest works and best narrations. The future of this channel is bright, and we are all here to witness this new great era. 🤘

I'm not exaggerating when I say this story was more exciting, grotesque and enjoyable than pretty much any Black Library novel I've ever read. I love these kinds of stories. They truly show that anyone can take a piece of the 40K universe and make it their own, and this story fits perfectly. Very good job.

I genuinely didn't expect any ending other than either him fully falling to chaos or getting caught. I really thought this would end with him ending as the original guy that fell upon his bowie knife in the first episode, for a moment there. This, however, was a much more pleasant ending. Which isn't too realistic, but I'm happy all the same. R.I.P. Solomon. You weren't a real one, but you died a real one.

Vox is my main source of 40k stories, because the stories he tells are consistently amazing, both in literary contruction and in the performance. your delivery of this three-part series made me fall in love with Soloman and his journey. A well-deserved applause, friend. Well done :)

I would say... Bravo!!!!!!! One of the most exhilarating stories I have ever heard.. so short yet so defined.. so graphic and grotesque yet so darkly beautiful and haunting.. the way the story caresses the fall of a simple man and the loss and guilt he has as he looks for some form of redemption that can not be had... yet in the end he takes what he will as solace and claims that as his own... he reclaims what he feels is his former life and happiness and embraces it and endures it in the flames... a man's last wish come true in his own mind and way as he dies.

As usual, fantastic work. Great writing and delivery and pacing, had some action bits a couple time per video to keep things shooty. But I really loved the fact that we got to hear about Slaanesh, I feel she focused on as much so nice hear about her warbands too.

I've said it before on one of your other videos, but it's true. You deserve so much more than 12k subscribers. Content of this quality is worth at least an extra two zeros on that number.

With his focus on survival at all cost, I thought there might be a twist of Nurgle using him to screw up Slaanesh's plan. This is a good ending. It wasn't for the Emperor, but for love. Which actually suits Slaanesh just as well.
