I was really hoping we were going to get Aun'Shi back in the lore and a new model, but it's looking unlikely. Since he is the only Tau that can attach to all these new kroot there's still hope, but it's not looking likely. Happy to FINALY hear this story though and happy to have found the channel.

I absolutely love what James Workshop has been doing with the Tau lore, and you voice acting is the necessary compliment to this thrilling installment. Back in 4th Edition, O'Shovah and Aun'Shi were the only hero models I had. Aun'Shi once delayed an Astartes Force Commander for 4 rounds by parrying all his blows haha

Aun'Shi is the second most anime tau ever written pretty great tbh

One of the few somewhat more likeable etherials, shame it happened to him of all... wonder if anyone's made any of the horrors/abborants/whatever the drukahri creatures were called with his face/parts sculpted onto it as an homage to how he ended up in their army or something?

It's from a novella called Aun'shi. A novella is the halfway point between a short story and a full novel.

The next time you feel like doing another Tau story, could you do "Voice of Experience". Its a Gue'vesa detective story, taking place on Suu'suamyth, an Orbital Shipyard within the Nem'yar Atoll, on the other side of the Startide Nexus in imperium nihilus.
