I think if changes to her hair and top, then she would look better. The top was the same colour as the background, isn’t pleasing to the eye. If she wore something that suited her body shape and framed her face nicely she would look a lot better. It feels like they got her to wear clothes and hair that would disfigure her.

This has happened to me at school. One girl at my classroom put herself beside me and asked a guy who was prettier. She did that to hurt me because the guy didn't even get along with me so well. But surprisingly to me the guy told her in front of everyone that I was prettier. I just smiled said thank you and went back on my business. I will always remember that. It was such a slap to her ego that she never ever messed with me again.

Very hard. What was worse, to me, was that they had the boyfriends rank their girlfriends. And her boyfriend didn't really defend her. He made excuses for why he was with her. Like he was embarrassed. She had her crap together, had a job, etc. Some of the other guys defended her and said she was the sweetest girl of all of them. It was so messed up. As someone who grew up as an ugly duckling I would say I grew up with an attractive older sister all I did was get overlooked, ignored and criticized. I would always get the “oh yea you to” … I was wrongly judged when I always tried my best to be the kindest warm hearted person I could be. It still hurts but the real strength is that I don’t judge people by covers and I am still kind even till this day.

I nearly cried once when this one nice girl from my class came to me while I was sitting alone on the staircase at uni to talk to me and then her friend came and basically dragged her away from me while making sly comments as like "why are you with this weirdo" tone just because I am shy and average, now I'm much better as I've found an extrovert pretty bestie who basically adopted me but sometimes I do feel that the people surrounding me notice me only when I'm with her. Grateful for her tbh otherwise I'd have a mental breakdown of how much miserable I was at the uni.

She for sure isn't ugly. Compared to the other girls I'd say she's the prettiest of all because she's humble, sweet and takes good care of herself (gym). Really hope she sees this video so her confidence gets a little boost.

Yeah the difference here is the other girls are doing a lot of stuff to improve their appearance while she’s just doing normal person stuff so of course she looks worse despite looking normal. She’s absolutely fine as she is. If she wants to improve herself she certainly has room to, but she doesn’t really need to.

I felt that when I first watched the video!

This is me everyday, highly accurate. Not because of a attractiveness matter but just because people every place I go literally ignore me and go to say "hi" to the person next to me. It feels so embarrassing having to go through this everytime. Like "hey, I have to go to the same place as you, you've seen me lots of times, you talked to me when you needed it and I answer you in a good way why do you do this to me?" They make me feel like I'm an actual ghost because they don't even look, it's amazing the level of invisible that I'm the whole time. Now I realised the main reason was my disability so I don't blame myself that hard but yeah, people are really gross and it seems (I want to believe) that don't actually notice how much they can hurt other people. As a person who still has depression this hits hard to the heart. You feel like you're less than them, but that's not true

I ended up meeting friends for life in Middle school, & we were viewed as cool kids by the juniors in highschool. I've struggled with this my whole life. Every year, I would get bullied, and girls would always ask to do a makeover on me, which made me feel horrible. My family bullied me worse than the kids at school, and now my self-esteem is sooo low. I feel for her, but I hope she knows she's worthy and those girls are going to freak out when aging sets in. She's the only one I'd be friends with tbh because she seems humble and sweet. She doesn't need to be fixed. Society can be so so cruel.

Then going by the personalities Sky and Jennifer seemed more approachable than Sophia, besides that the comment on "I am scared of gyms because.. UGH.. MEN" made me feel repulsed both Sky and Sophia. And Jennifer wins by elimination, BUT even without that she is the only one with a real career, down to earth personality, who goes to gym, and genuinely seems nice. Plus she is already lasted over 5 years into a relationship so she's pretty solid compared to everyone else.

For me beauty is relative, some may think someone is beautiful while others think they're ugly, what really matters for me is how you see yourself, people's opinion doesn't matter at all, bc everyone has different tastes. It's all about liking yourself and accepting how you really are. If ppl like you, ok, if they don't, it's also ok. Nothing should matter more than your own vision about yourself

I was treated like this throughout middle and high school. I had a chubby body, brace face ugly hair phase. I was often ostracised. Even when I grew out of all that and started to get plenty of male attention, I was still ostracised and viewed as competition. Sometimes you can’t win when you’re ugly or pretty when it comes to making female friends. It’s rough.

I used to be bullied being ugly in high school by other girls (by mean girls). I looked a bit more exotic with my big nose and eccentric wardrobe choices . But I was really smart and gifted and I was athletic. Later on when high school was over and we all matured I started to take care of my appearance more when mean girls weren't there to destroy my self esteem. I met some of the guys from high school and they said I was always the hottest and especially now I look even more attractive. I was different and other girls just tried to blend in and compete with eachothers with the qualities they chose. And tbh I was fun and laid back when the mean girls were not and probably still not are.

I thought this exact same thing when I saw this vid on SC too!! She’s SO cute and the other girls were just ignoring her. She’s so sweet too 😢

My oldest sister was ganged up on by some girl she didn't even know, because apparently she felt threatened. My youngest sister was bullied by pretty much every other girl in class because she has dyslexia and dysgraphia A woman I used to be friends with, she was 24 and still had traumas from high school bullying, she was too afraid to wear dress and heels because of that, worried she would be judged.
