I liked the idea, but the execution made it a little rude... The whole time and especially at the very end it did feel like more than breaking the stereotype, it was more so being promoted, which to me was a little sad. Being a curvy girl myself, what Jordan said broke my heart :(

Jordan looks by far the prettiest facially imo, and like her mannerisms were charming. The way Maria carried herself did nothing for me, didn't even notice it. She just kinda got 3rd by default because she's the most my type. I agree with on the blonde girl, but to me the black girl is very pretty.

Someone could wear black, have piercings everywhere and heavy eyeliner but enjoy collecting Kawaii stickers and loves chic flicks. You can't tell someone from their clothes.

It's so ironic, because personality actually was a huge determining factor for the guys, you could just see it in them. Watching all these overconfident women get absolutely humbled by the quiet Asian girl they were passively putting down moments earlier is absolutely hilarious. Michelle's ability to not care about what the other women ranked her was a big insight into her maturity and character.

It was all about appearances and nothing to do with personality. Personality refers to the enduring characteristics and behavior that comprise a person's unique adjustment to life, including major traits, interests, drives, values, self-concept, abilities, and emotional patterns. You could not decipher those things just by looking at someone. They 100% did it by appearance and it fit what I had assumed would be the ranking - the top are physically the most beautiful.

Exactly and the girl they rated a 2 literally said in the girls rate guys episode "I didnt find any of them attractive so this was really hard for me" and answered that she finds herself the most attractive person in the room most of the time... she EXTREMELY conceited and I think they made me find her significantly less attractive as a person. THE WAY THEY GOT HUMBLED IS CRAZY

1. Michelle - she's cute and seems chill. She has a quiet self assurance that she could take the 5th spot like a girl boss. 2. Maria - she's the prettiest and could rank #1 but it's so hard to outrank someone that is cool, nice and cute like Michelle. .... huge gap.... 3. Jordan - she has a pretty face but if we're going to be honest, her body isn't attractive. Having fit and healthy body (slim, a bit muscular, toned, a bit chubby) is often correlated to attractiveness. She's seems sensible but her hypocrisy is off putting. 4. Kaylynn - Victim mentality isn't attractive. Always. Just because you are black it doesn't make you ugly nor beautiful. There are many beautiful black women out there, you're just not one of them. Be sport about it. 5. Annie - The faces she made when the guys switched her place with Michele is so unattractive. Her entitlement and bad attitude was also showing with her body languages and facial expressions.

It’s about everything. That’s why they were allowed to wear whatever they wanted and why the guys were overheating their deliberation. And hey, that’s the smarter way to do this. This is how these women are in real life, personality and appearance. Nearly no one is choosing who to date in real life based solely on appearance. If you’re ranked one in an experiment that doesn’t showcase personality or self expression, that information isn’t super useful.

Your personality affects your looks to some extent. Body posture, clothing choice, and modulation (piercings, jewelery, tattoos, make-up, etc.) are all personality traits and decisions that appear in someone's looks. Humans know this and customize these aspects about themselves subconsciously and consciously. I am not trying to down-play communication, actions, and intentions in the slightest, but looks have an effect.

It's because the other girls wanted to put them down. Probably knew they were the most attractive. Honestly, I may have switched #1 and #2 in the final ranking, but they were certainly both several steps ahead of the rest. And I'd wager the other women deep down knew that as well.

The Asian girl was so nice that she put herself at 5 just cuz the other girls don't feel bad despite shes prettier than a lot of them. Shes beautiful outside and inside.

@@Autonomous15 really? From the get go the media and society teaches us our biggest value is our appearance. Do not get me wrong I value personal responsibility and so I have worked myself out of that thought cycle but I do understand how others get sucked into it. Many men also only value women based on their looks. Yes men and women are guilty of it. I am in no way saying most or all people are like this.

Some women think that men are superficial because we judge based on appearance, but in many cases a woman’s appearance can tell us a lot about here without even speaking to her. We tend to trust what our eyes are telling us.

I know omg I liked that she just took it in stride. She was definitely the most attractive. Maria is pretty too but she tried too hard with the dressy outfit and heavier makeup while Michelle (girl rated #1) looked very effortlessly pretty with the athletic leisure wear and minimal makeup.

This is supposed to be kind of like a guys perspective vs girls thing. But the fundamental flaw here is not only the subjectivity behind “attractiveness” but that the girls just had the chance/opportunity to talk to each other, which heavily influenced their opinions of each other, while the boys literally did not have the opportunity. They got funneled into making fast judgements based on appearance alone.

They were jealous. It is an ugly tendency for some women to get jealous and throw someone they view as competition under the bus. I was bullied a lot in highschool because I am relatively attractive and smart. I didn't see that in myself back then, so I was distraught and couldn't figure out why all the girls I tried to talk to hated my guts. Unfortunately, it doesn't change much as one gets older. Some people stay immature well into adulthood, but I think things are starting to improve here very recently since there has been a push for women to be kinder to one another and stand together. I am very grateful for that. Tired of the crabs in a bucket mentality.
