Oh my God! That's Big Bear Lake! I know that Observatory anywhere! I thought that looked like Snow Summit at the beginning of this video, but it has been so long since I have been up there in my old home town I lived there 30 years ago! I do miss it sometimes! Now I am close to Lake Tahoe!

TRX Traxx for that extreme off road experience. (Deep Traxx sold separately) converts that boring TRX4 into a lean, mean, battery draining machine. Traxx are a perfect addition for winter adventures with freezing temperatures your ESC, Motor and steering servo will radiate plenty of heat to never leave you cold. Seriously they are fun and look awesome. 👍

I've had the Traxxas Traxx since they come out but only ran them once. It was cold when I bought them and was at the time expecting snow, but didn't get a flake from the time they arrived till now. When I ran them, they weren't very good on the terrain I run my TRX4 which is hard pack dirt, lot of rock, roots and branches, and very steep hill climbs. I bought the deep tread tracks with hopes they will do better. The only problem is just a few days ago my motor started glitching and cutting out. Definitely only the motor though as I connected another motor to the ESC. I don't know how long till the ESC is going to die so I ended up buying a Sensored Brushless system to install rather than just replacing the motor. I'm just going after life expectancy rather than cost.

Just found a bare traxxas rustler chassis, I’m building it up and just got a transmission, I was wondering which screws off traxxas (or traxxas number) to get to mount the transmission the chassis. 👍

There are a bunch of things you can do with a stampede. There is a number of aluminum parts that traxxas makes for the stampede and there is also a velenion brushless system that they make for the stampede slash ruster and much more. There are also other brands that make parts for it and you can also throw on some 2.8 sized wheels! Hope this helps you.

channel 2 is unplugged, open reciever box and plug channel 2 in, or motor is disconneted from esc or recalibrate the esc

The rubber on those traxx are different than the ones it comes with. I have this model. They look way more aggressive and must do a better job. The rubber that actually comes on the traxx seem no good. I quit using them. Where do I find the ones in this video?

You just gotta know what you really need and what’s good. Some aftermarket parts are mostly aesthetic and don’t really do anything. An example is the aluminum shock caps. They’re like 40 bucks for all 4, which is absurd. If you have the regular ultra shocks and want better suspension, spend 20 more dollars and get the big bores which have an aluminum body and cap. But yeah. Some of their stuff I would never buy
