They should’ve reversed the OG trilogy and kill off Price maybe. We know him, we love him, it’d be very hard hitting and set up good motivation for the other 3 to grow and develop especially Soap who could’ve grown to become more like “Captain Mactavish” like in MW2 Student avenging the mentor kinda thing

Would’ve been more honourable if it was gaz instead of soap. Not saying he is any less important but soap isn’t the type to go out

They didn't even dedicate a specific cutscene only to create hatred against Makarov so as to hype up the next COD. Shame. Wasting one of the prominent characters just to make money and pass off a scam passed off as a campaign is shameful, not to mention that killing the same character twice in the same franchise is CRAZY.

it feels like the Raids missions, just 2 missions looks like really worked on (flashpoint & prisoner 627). and passenger looks very unfinished.

Same goes for Lazar and Stitch who died in CW, yet we played as them in mp and zombies in CW.

⁠@@Torbjorn_Main Ironically, since he was killed, he is now one of the operators I use the most along with Horangi, Conor, Calisto, Zero and Gus. (I only have the skin they gave in the Soap season 3 pass). And the funny thing is that the same thing happened to me with Stitch (I used the disciple skin with him, and he was the one I used the most in Warzone 1 xD).

@@Deathmare235 It still felt strange, and in the case of Stitch, even more so when you played on maps after 1984 (like some zombie maps). And Lazar...well I feel like they only put him in as a replacement for Ravenov (they canceled him because of the war in Russia and Ukraine).

I feel like Gaz would've been a better character to die, they didn't have to waste Soap's potential like that. :(

Facts I love ghost but it would’ve been nice if ghost died and soap would now wear the mask also would’ve been a great face reveal too

Alejandro shoulda been in mw3, and i think he woulda be very angry at makarov for killing soap

Soap’s death felt so… odd. Like it felt like it was a last resort since the developers had no more plot or something so they had to include a major death.

So wait, Soap said “I thought your face was gonna melt away”. And then ghost says it would be an improvement lool. 4:20

Probably considering Makarov got off at the end of this game’s campaign. They weren’t going to kill him off in the third game like they did in the original games because they introduced him in this one, and they’ve done things different in this rebooted timeline. Also, seeing how Makarov is the main antagonist of both MW Series Old and New, they wanna build him up as this Thanos-level threat
