Everything on this is amazing The artwork The music Fuck, even sonic's design...and i even started telling to myself that that design is kinda not...well...but in the end, i liked it, i cant wait for the full thing

I personally love how its based around the mania/canon animation style, staying true to the format AND it fits perfectly for a 3D classic sonic polished debut. But its been a demo for while and idk if it will be finished unless someone chooses to or if Sega see's this with its non existent eyes to this fan content and make it a full game

⁠Same thing. I LOVE the Classic games (ESPECIALLY Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Srry mania and 2, ur good games tho), and I see this as if, say Sonic 1 came out in 2016. All the team has to do is either make the zones smaller, or maybe take a (hear me out) "Mario Sunshine" approach and do a little cinematic to show where the signpost would be. AND. If this whole "2016 sonic 1" doesn't work out and was maybe a whole different game, I see this as if the timeline went Sonic 1, CD, Utopia, then 2 and 3. I'd also LOVE to see the bosses, like the Egg Wrecker (the green hill boss) done in 3D, like, take Sonic 4's remake of it, AND ACTUALLY MAKE IT GOOD 😃 (Srry this comes is so long 😅)

Just imagine it A platforming game with this kind of speed and physics, and the open world exploration focus of Banjo Kazooie Designed well, it could print money for Sega, and be everything Adventure was meant to be

I cannot get over how gorgeous this game is,, I could look at the vibrant colors and breathtaking skybox all day

Remember the days Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64? I like to think this is Sonic's take on it. And it would fit, a hub, stages to explore. Yeah, I think I'd be down for that.

Seeing a fully open vision of South Island would be beautiful as well. Especially if it also had lesser-known zones to its name, such as the 8-bit zones from the Master System versions of Sonic 1 and 2, or even stuff like the levels of Sonic Blast and Jump.

Could use more platforming but you can tell when sonic was in labrynth region, they're really trying. This game needs more unique and difficult enemies, hidden routes, puzzles and platforming and that's very hard to do with a small team of Devs. Its too bad sonic team is really incompetent. This physics is dead on what was suppose to be a true successor to the adventure formula. Most people don't get that the adventure games had very bad camera, was linear in many aspects and had a lot of bugs(especially the ones where sonic would fall to his death). Its easy to understand why Sega abandoned the adventure formula but I think the greatest sin is sonic team never iron outs the kinks with its engines. A true sonic game needs a solid Mario 64 like engine. To date this hasn't happened and the generations engine , while solid paced, is very scripted and lends itself to repetition and control being taken away from the player.

I've been thinking the same thing for a while now. Multiplayer raid-like activities with created characters. Speed type (hedgehog, chameleon etc), power type (echidna, crocodile etc), and aerial type (fox... err lol, bee etc). Then each player can have special responsibilities, like the speed character charging their dash on a pad that lowers a draw bridge so it can then be crossed. While doing so, the others fend off a mob of enemies. Man that would be so much fun in a game that's set up just like Sonic Utopia.

Most of the "bad" games that came recently are actually pretty good but the critics make them look bad, so a lot of people take those critics seriously so everyone thinks that game is bad, for example sonic forces which everyone says it’s a bad game but it isn’t.

I never knew about this Sonic game until now. If it was made in late '90s to early 2000, it looks pretty good and has some smooth animation. The only problem is how Sonic is smaller than anything in the game. The only reason I see for this is him being the size of his animal buddies, but seriously, he's the size of a ring!

It just seems incredibly lackluster...the part where he waited for the slow moving enemy to get close so he could jump on it...That and it would add potential for high in the sky type platforming levels.
