I’ve been watching you for 4 or 5 years now. I’ve been a reseller for that long. I watched your videos and literally took notes and built by business by following your tips and explanations. I follow a low COG model where I sell quickly (a year or less) and sell a lot. My area lends itself best to that as finding brands like Patagonia and LuLu is incredibly rare. Since then, I have paid off my student loan and saved up and bought a house. Next on my list is paying off loan for my new windows I just had installed. I’ve been watching your videos for over 4 years. I just had my 5th anniversary on PM. I’ve always sourced mainly from a Boutique GW close to me. The prices can sometimes be high but the items I find are generally worth it. Lots of lululemon, Patagonia, NWT dresses. I’ve found NWT JW, Agua Bendita, Lilly P, Faherty, Reformation, Athleta, Madewell, etc. I don’t source things with flaws anymore. Too time consuming and time is money! I’m actually not sourcing at all right now because I want to stop reselling next year. Since I have over 1K items in my inventory it will take me at least that long. I know you didn’t ask but…kid’s books I highly recommend are, The Red Lemon and The Mercy Watson series.

Watching almost 12 months, I’ve been reselling as a side hustle on top of my full time job. Slowing down a bit as we’re about to grow our family too but hopefully pick up again in my maternity leave 😊 taking notes on how you’re juggling reselling with a newborn! I should add I’m in Australia but I’ve had some great sales picking up a few lesser known international (for us) brands that you’ve taught me, ones others probably pass over in the Aussie stores. Some sell locally, some people have paid crazy prices to ship to Canada/ US/ UK

I have been watching since before you had your first girl. Now you have two! I had a stroke and chose re-selling over disability. I've learned that it's best to buy and sell what you love. No two re-sellers sell the same. I'm a Mercantile store. A little of everything. You taught me about clothing and your pivot reminds me to be flexible but diligent.

Hi, I’m from the SF North Bay and am curious as to whether or not you find good sources. It used to be the best here but now there’s only one thrift that has anything and they’re a bit pricey. SF seems very pricey, along with Marin, and the South Bay I don’t know much about. I’ve kinda given up on local sourcing so just wondering if others have a hard time also. Thanks!

@@LJack-ck8uh Totally relatable. Most thrift stores around the Bay Area have ridiculous pricing, even the small "mom & pop" thrift shops. Don't know how the "thrift outlets" are since I don't have time to browse. I'm just a thrifter who looks for treasures as a hobby.

I have been reselling for about 18 months and you have been my mentor for most of them. The closest bins store to me is about an hour away and I have been there several times but find better deals locally. There are 3 thrift stores in my town and they all have 99 cent sales weekly on the color of the week. I get my best deals that way. Reseling is just a hobby for me but it is helping me pay down my mortgage! Keep putting out this great content. It is so helpful

Ive been watching for a little over a year. I started reselling part time since 2015 as a hobby after having my 1st born and then made it my part time business aside from my m-f job. I did sell at the swapmeet for 2 years and then made the move to WA and stopped working and made reselling something full time. But after 2 yrs of trying full time i went back to working full time and just now do reselling part time. But i do miss sourcing every week

I work full time so can only focus on reselling part time, but it is fun and I have learned a lot from you and other resellers. Hi there! I've been reselling since 2006. Exclusively on Ebay (6000+ feedback) until a few months ago when I finally started listing on Poshmark. I started watching you about 6 months ago. I watch mainly to get in the mood for listing. I struggle with motivation and especially with focus/concentration. Last October I learned that I have a weird neurological issue. My brain is herniating into my spinal cord... which causes so many weird issues that change/shift daily. So I can't work like I used to. I was a used car dealer and after that a professional used car buyer. Anyway, I just recently got more into clothing but I still do a lot of vintage estate stuff as well as some handmade items and stuff from my garden. I already had pretty major ADD but the brain thing has taken it off the charts and now I hop from thing to thing like a monkey seeing something shiny. So watching you helps me get into the mood to list since I don't have anyone around to talk to about reselling/thrifting.

Yelp! I’ve only been to the Santa Rosa bins once and it was a total waste of time. I keep thinking of going up to the Sac bins but worry they won’t have much either. I go to the cat store a couple of times a week but it’s so very hit and miss. Good luck to you!

I started reselling in fall of 2021, you were one of the first resellers I began watching and you're the one I enjoy the most! I live in the Portland area so I love seeing what types of stuff you find and sell as it gives me an idea of what I can expect to find in my own area. I've seen you at the bins a couple times but I'm a little shy and also don't want to interrupt you doing your work, I'm personally always super in the zone while shopping. Because of you I started taking some stuff to crossroads and it's such a good feeling to get rid of stuff I can't sell or that I just don't want to bother with. I just have trouble knowing what to pick up with my store credit sometimes so it just keeps accumulating lol. I'm not a big risk taker which is why I mostly just do the bins as I never have to worry I paid too much for anything. I'm having my second baby this September so I'll be taking a month off at least, maybe longer depending on how I feel. I do it as a hobby so I don't need the money but I would like to sell stuff rather than hanging on to it! So hopefully I will feel up to at least selling what I have even without doing the sourcing or making new listings. I'm slowly going to be taking stuff to crossroads just to get rid of older inventory as I'm going to have to stop my big bins trips soon so I'm not overwhelmed with used clothes when I need to prep for baby. I actually find shopping the bins in the summer harder because I get so over heated! I don't mind shopping in the cold because I get such a workout I barely feel it.

I found a Billy Reid shirt for the first time on Monday and was so excited. When I checked comps I was confused because it was not good. I re-checked for several minutes before passing on it. I knew that I knew the brand from somewhere and now I realize it was from you!

Part time reseller down in Eugene/Springfield. I started reselling when I lived in Denver and had GREAT bins 5 mins from my house. Sad that we don’t have any bins in Eugene! Salem is the closest. At least the regular Goodwill’s down here always have 50% off and 75% off tags! Love watching your videos!

hi mogibeth, I've been watching for a year and a half on recommendation from my reseller sister because I was shopping for her to sell. No I have my own poshmark closet. Your videos are super helpful to me. I am in Silverton and often do sourcing in PDX. I am so sad the Burnside goodwill closed. I know it was your favorite too 😂
