All My Loving - Rhythm Guitar and Bass Cover - Rickenbacker 325
My cover/tutorial of The Beatles 1963 song, "All My Loving" from the album "With The Beatles". John Lennon's rhythm guitar part played on a 1999 Rickenbacker 325V59. Paul McCartney's bass line played on an Epiphone Viola Bass. If you're interested in seeing more Beatles videos, please be sure to subscribe. Thank you for watching and enjoy!

It isn't a "walking bass line", it's pretty much a scale, the whole Db Minor, that is relative to E Major, but it sounds like a good jazz walking bass line
@cauemachadosilva6208
3 жыл бұрын
@@user-pi5xx4jy9s when you're playing just the scale, you are pretty much going down or up, using just the notes from the scale, that is the case on "All My Loving". The walking bass line is supposed to conect the notes that the song is based, using the different progressions, relating this notes into 3rds, 5ths, 7ths, etc from this particular notes, not only from the scale. The walking bass is more complex, requires more theory study.

John was a rhythmical genius. The vocal part in All You Need Is Love is difficult to master and yet he makes it sound so easy.
Been playing guitar 25 years and been a massive Beatles fan for 20 years - never been able do that guitar strumming pattern - u make it look so easy - the chords are amazing as well

Great job!....John had said he and Paul had been writing songs since they were 16. But it wasn't until Paul wrote All My Loving did John take songwriting more seriously. This was Johns Band. He found and hired every member. He wanted people Better than him in it and he was pretty dam good himself! This is the first BIG BREAK for the Beatles: Ed Sullivan! Live! AMERICA! For John to pick Pauls song, Pauls face, Pauls voice to splashdown inside America's television sets says something about how proud he was of the talent in his band! Great job on both parts here! So much BS in this post. "But it wasn't until Paul wrote All My Loving did John take songwriting more seriously." Do you have proof of this somewhere? " This was Johns Band. He found and hired every member." Wrong. "This is the first BIG BREAK for the Beatles" Wrong. "For John to pick Pauls song, Pauls face, Pauls voice to splashdown inside America's television sets says something about how proud he was of the talent in his band!" Nonsense. Try not posting if you have no idea what you are talking about, please.

Whoever disliked this video doesn't know good music.. Well done!!
Even seasoned guitar players have problems nailing this challenging rhythm part....no doubt the strum came from John's experience with the banjo.
Very well done! Thanks for the memories.
TEMAZO, TEMAZO, gracias The Beatles.
As a lifelong player and Beatles aficionado, I’m saying this is brilliantly done. Thanks for sharing Nick!
There is a variation that Paul made in the bass during the last stanza after the adlib. It is not the same in the first and second. If you carefully listen to the original recording you will notice it. Paul McCartney doesn’t use only one pattern. He is a versatile bassist.

McCartney loves music as much as any human ever. He just loved trying different avenues. Sometimes planned, mostly ad lib. It's music at its best.
Any chance of doing "real love"?
Very well done. *If only I could successfully get John’s chords.*
Most Beatles songs were composed by Paul and John, but I find George's composed songs more defining and smooth to the ears!!!

This video shows how much John Lennon played ,triplets , McCartney bass.fantastic .John Lennon guitar so neglected or under estimated,he was a master at triplets which this song brings it out so much,I cry for them death of the Beatles .
@Allan-et5ig

I wouldn't say he's neglected. Great, yes. There are countless guitar magazines that have come out since the 80's teaching his parts (or trying) and lauding him as a rhythmical master.
I can watch this over, and over. Great Job! I know the chords, but holding that note count is a chore! To think John sang, and smiled as he played this live, seemingly effortless.

You have to play that Hoff lefty dude. LOL. Kidding. Great job.
I always wanted to learn the rhythm Lennon plays on this song. At first it was almost impossible specially if you haven't tried doing some triplet strums before. Didn't gave up and eventually I can play it now :) However when I do that I can't sing the song though hahaha. I guess that's one of the reason Lennon didn't sang with Paul during the verses and have George do the backup vocals instead.

amazing how a human being Lennon can come up with these chords.......
