(Jude lover here) To all those who say you can’t sympathize with Jude because he was technically cheating on her girlfriend when he met Lucy. He stopped communicating with her, he may not have written her the proper letter telling her he didn’t want to be with her but I think his intent was clear. She was obviously not waiting around for the breakup confirmation either. If you don’t remember towards the end of the movie we see that Molly has clearly moved on and married Phil Scully and is pregnant with his child…I’ve watched this movie waaaay too many times.
