Admittedly, the ONLY reason Fusions varia suit is the only suit in F-tier is because you disqualified Other M's "Gravity Feature" from the tier-list.

Well the “Gravity Feature” isn’t a suit at all rather a feature as the name suggests. So without a doubt almost absolutely nobody would really consider it to be an actual suit due to there being literally zero changes aside from single color changes.

Not that it'll change much, but consider viewing the Nintendo Switch Online version of the game. It corrects the oversaturation that was in place for the original GBA version, which was there to compensate for the GBA's lack of an illuminated, backlit screen. Overall, the suits look cooler in the NSO version.

One thing narratively that doesn’t get mentioned a lot is that they had to surgically remove infected sections of Samus’s suit from her. Theoretically, the yellow bits we see on the fusion suit is what was either uncontaminated or unremovable. The helmet may have been a close approximation to her original helmet, based on what they had available, or the crash discolored the helmet… somehow? (Maybe it’s the primer under the normal paint, idk?) Which leaves the blue body with an obvious source: The zero suit. While it IS different than the Zero Suit we’ve seen elsewhere, we know that under her power suit, the zero suit acts as a second skin. Without her armor, the zero suit would still cover her body. It also explains why, defensively, the fusion suit is weaker in lore. And, without the added weight and bulk of her armor, it explains why the fusion suit is so acrobatic, able to do the crazy flips and wall grabs and ledge hangs.

I recommend cutting the "click the subscribe button if you want to see more Metroid shorts, discussions and lore like this" from the end of each short except for the last one in each compilation. Feels a bit repetitive, otherwise. Still love these shorts, just wanted to say that.

Fusion's Gravity Suit is my second-favorite in the franchise, only below Samus Returns'. That's about the only thing I can strongly disagree with you on these. 😅

Love all the suits in this game. Gravity is the best for me.

The original GBA had a known issue of washing out colors, in part due to the lack of a backlight. As such, devs for early GBA games would deliberately oversaturate colors to compensate. With that in mind, Fusion Varia on original hardware… isn't that bad, actually. The washout eliminates a lot of the clown-vomit look.

I might sound stupid asking for help here and for something of this caliber but uh, funny story. Once upon a time I created an account for Metroid Construction, mainly for Metroid Fusion Special Edition. I asked the creator to consider implementing the original Charge Beam, but I never got to see it come to fruition as I got into an argument over Super Metroid Funfar (1 or 2, I don't remember), threatened self-harm and was permanently banned. I acknowledge how stupid that was and that I could've done something very very different but really, I just wanted people off my case for asking for help so many times. But you wanna know the funny part of the story? For some reason, every time I visit the website, I'm still banned, even as a guest. I simply choose to I think I might've done something when I was first banned to cause it, but I'm not sure. So now, here I am asking for help to either very restrictedly navigate the forums (through someone else, probably, if not a virtual machine or something) or bypass the guest ban. Any (very infuriated/pitying) MetConst volunteers?

I'm just here to see you throw shade at the fusion varia suit.

I prefer the original Fusion suit over what's seen in Samus returns & dread, as I don't like the muscle fiber appearance to the blue sections. The Samus returns Fusion suit inexplicably added the black under armor at the hip joints but nowhere else on the arms or shoulders

Still ... i'm think varia suit from Fusion and prime are superior than ... all suit of other M At least least THEY TRIED something new even if it look bad instead of just ... making 0 effort (yeah because they didn't have any excuse , Other M was on wii , they could at least made a change for Power / Varia suit , and don't gave me started on the gravity feature)

I've been thinking about something... why does the L on the Prime Power Suit is mirrored. I think that since Samus lost her Power suit in Zero Mission and then she gets the Legendary Power Suit, which you explaind to us that is says that Prime comes after zero mission, I think that the Prime Classic Power suit design (storywise) must be the Legendary look of the original one.
