Nope, now she’s just another good (not exceptional) singer. It was her ventriloquism that did it.

Most likely it was the best decision, because the Superfans of these spinoff episodes of AGT are notorious for not voting for singers. Either way as a singing ventriloquist or as a singer she wasn't going to win. So it good that she let the whole country know at the same time that she is now a recording artist as well.

What the hell are they talking about? She still was performing as a ventriloquist, even though she performed part of the act with her straight voice, which was absolutely excellent!

it's amazing what 7 years can do to a person.

Darci, do it your way. God gave you the talent and your hard work perfected it, now go forth and sell it and maybe that's what God would have you do. We all love you and we enjoy the entire show, all of it. Hp

Yes Darci can sing solo. The first time I heard her sing solo was when she was 13 back in 2018, at her show in Cleveland. Darci has always had a beautiful voice.

I love watching Darci Lynn grow up and I feel like I've also grown up with her as we were both born in the same year just 2 months apart from each other and she is an amazing singer, ventriloquist and comedian

Darci is by far the best ventriloquist I've ever seen. She talks and sings through her big smile. Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham both have their mouths open with an expressionless look on their faces.

What are you talking about lol. Terry and Jeff are legends and masters of ventriloquism, their comedy material and interaction with their puppets are miles ahead of Darci. She's good but she does safe and more PC comedy.

I was just pointing out the differences in their act. The way that they hold their mouths when making their puppets talk. Yes they all are good, they just have a different way to perform. I wasn't trying to minimize their talent, just noticing the way they interact with their puppets when making them talk.

A vocalist as great as Darci Lynne shouldn't be relegated to simply ventriloquy because it is adorably cute. Darci Lynne ROCKS!

Darci has always been more than just a ventriloquist. I love her song Just Breathe, which she co-wrote and sang back when she was 16. It's a very beautiful song.

just because shes good at it doesn't mean she needs to do that forever. its always up to her, and if she doesn't win, so be it. she knew it was a risk anyway, she killed her solo performance and I think it would be super fun for her to go back to working with petunia sometimes for some performances, but solo is her main act now. shes growing, and she should not be put in a box like that.

Darci has always been multi talented and AGT knows it. No one is trying to put her in a box. The judges comments were just for the competition. Darci's career has been much bigger than just being on AGT.

Totally agree, thanks for being honest in your opinion. I have seen better ventriloquists in that some can do it so well without moving their lips and showing a grin while trying to make it look like the puppet is really talking and looking live. I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary from her.

AGT is consider one of the biggest stages in the world one has to ask oneself was it a risk as some people are saying about Darci Lynne going solo without her puppets on AGT semifinal or was it an opportunity for Darci Lynne to gain more exposure on a national television show that is seen by an estimated 4.5 to 5.5 million home viewing audience to show another skill set of her. either way Dacri Lynne is a winner in my book

Darci has been on AGT every year since she won at 12. Everyone including the judges and those who have been following her career all knew that Darci had grown up. That's why the judges wanted Darci on their team.

She wanted to show off her talent to get noticed. To bring another career in line other than just only that one they was just disappointed that she took a different route They was hoping for an adult ventriloquist she did a great job. She could be a country singer. She might be looking to put out albums they might be jealous But I am keeping it straight. There is more going on here than you know … got it …

I’ll be shocked if she ever comes back to the show after some of the things that were said

The first performance was at least still on point with her USP. But the 2nd? She is not a singer. Theres thousands of those and she does not stand out more than them. I respect her for making a choice and sticking with it. But its not her Selling Point. I guarantee back when she was 12 and she ditched the puppets for the final.. the runner up would have won instead She can totally be a singer. .. but dont ditch the puppets. Learn how to make them animitronics and practice throwing her voice.

19 wow, she acts like she’s reached middle age when, in reality her frontal lobe and brain has yet to reach full development. I’m most that happens between 23-25.

She made her name with a very special talent and then decided to toss that away and attempt to win an entirely new audience with an entirely new act. Not an easy thing to accomplish. Most viewers only remember her for what made her famous and by leaving all that behind will probably not impress many. I was not impressed.

Daniel, I get what you are saying here performing ventriloquism at a young age made her unique. at the same time Darci Lynne is multitalented (singer, ventriloquist, puppeteer, voice actress, actress, comedian, host, scriptwriter and song writer, musician,) She was even a gymnast at a young Darci Lynne had three successful national tours Darci Lynne and Friends 2018, Darci Lynne and Friends: Fresh Out of the Box 2019, Darci Lynne My Lips Are Sealed Except When They’re Not 2021, She made a video with Jeff Dunham (The Haunted House on Dunham Hill) Oct 26, 2017, she hosted her own one hour television Christmas special in 2018 (Darci Lynne My Hometown Christmas) on NBC Network. she has done voice over work in animated films/cartoons in 2020 (Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?) she acted, sang and wrote one of the songs in the 2022 feature film "A Cowgirl Song." since winning AGT season 12 in 2017 She has made numerous television appearances. She has appeared on "Little Big Shot" hosted by Steve Harvey two times and one time on the UK version of "Little Big Shot." I don't think Darci Lynne has abandoned ventriloquism all together she enjoys singing on stage as a fan of her I encourage Darci Lynne to explore all opportunity that come her way who knows what the future holds for her she may have her own television show or another television special or appear on Broadway, or another movie role or voice over work may come her way.

Everything is so good but a little less makeup would be better.

At first Darci said no to AGT for Fantasy League. But the second time she was asked she told them yes but she was going to do something different. They agreed to that. But the judges were not aware of what was agreed upon.

She set aside her most spectacular skill to become just another singer. Mistake.

Not the best singer = But maybe the best puppet singer, So why not stick with what other good singers can't do.

Darci has stated multiple times that she's not giving up ventriloquism or the puppets. Hopefully after she establishes herself as a solo artist she'll rveturn to do shows with the puppets.

Just cause she is pretty doesn’t mean she is the best country singer and a ventriloquist. There are better ones I have seen. I don’t get what people see in her “talent”. I just see teeth with a grin to try to make it look like her funny bunny is talking🤦‍♀️
