Same sadly my 2months game time ends in 4days. Hopefully I can get my alt to lvl 70. Right now lvl 43 ret pally.. level guides say do chromie scenario, how ever could always sell/ de gear I out grow

I installed it about a week ago after I saw it in another of your videos and it's blown me away. And the new spec sim is exactly what I've been looking for. BTW, in Auctionator you can create groups of items to search, you can use that for example to update all materials for all LW middle reagents for example, instead of searching one by one.

I can’t wait until all of the specializations are added and working! and yea you can make groups as well! I have most of my mats favorited which allows me to refresh the majority of items without having to do a separate scan (because im lazy lol) but shopping lists are great!, especially if you use PBS

This add-on has been a life-saver as a Leatherworking Armour crafter, and has helped me get the best deals possible for my customers (which has gotten me a lot of return customers). Doesn't include recrafts if you don't hold the item though, which is a shame. But I'm sure they will be included at some point! Thanks for highlighting it for people!

Specialization info finally shows how specialization links work. It's a pity that blizzard didn't think of something similar, because it would be useful for people to know what skills to develop to create a given item in the best quality.

Love your videos. I have been playing wow since the beginning but only recently decided to play the gold-making game. Your videos have been a great help. So much so that I joined your channel. With that said I have a question unrelated to this addon but want to know what addon you use for your tooltip. I have tried and have been unable to find it myself. Hey! Thanks so much for joining! In terms of the tooltip, are you asking about the data displayed there? If so, I use TSM. If you like the design of them, I use TipTac! Hope that helps

Hey Penguin, freat vid first of all, really helpfull addon! I was wondering if there is a possibility to simulate the Material Optimization with higher items in the recipe, for example when you use a Primal Infusion or Missive or whatever. Let me know if its doable in any way :)

Love this addon! I just have some questions, how do I delete the customer history chat information from the addon? How can I change the max history? The default is always 200 once I relog the game.

Coming back to WOW from many many years. The new professions are so much complicated than before. Before sinking more time on this ( which I will eventually ), what is an optimum set up for professions nowadays? Long while ago, it used to be that you would want two crafting professions on your main, gathering profession on your alt, if you had even just 2 max characters and 2 still lvling. I just never found any info on when did the change happen, and for what reasons? Can someone so kindly explain this to me?

Watching your video was very beneficial~! I would like to ask you about the profit value given by the plugin includes the 5% tax of the auction house?

Yes it takes the cut into account - so if it is saying 10g profit, that is 10g profit going into your pocket after the AH cut!

Will likely do an update as we get into TWW, however the basic concepts still are relevant!

My Auctionator Search button doesn't show on screen, not even opens Auction house at the same time along with profession tab.

Now I feel bad for not getting into goldmaking before and getting the AH mount. Can I scan AH with mailing alt sitting in Orgrimmar then relog to crafter? Will this result in current prices or do I need to scan with the crafter itself? Not really sure how all those auction databases work.

There’s an auction house in Valdrakken! Just take your toon there. It’s faster than trying to always relog!

Which price source are you currently using? And calculates more accurately?

Is Auctionator displaying costs? You may need to run a full scan initially

I never knew about TSM and scraft, only auctionator and altaholich, .. i thunk i remember alts, could pull from alt , but i cant fet it to work.. i can only look what alt has.. i will have to watch a video. Back when ivplated... we had DIAL -UP LOL

But back then I never got into WOW, IT WAS Starcraft/diablo. I had dialup, but dsl/cable was way more cost. I mostly had to go to a gamestore/ I played diabo, everyone else played wow,

under the materials where it says "To craft:" is it part of the addon? or is it something else? I don't get that information

@@Penguinr2gt I'm experiencing this same thing. I don't have either of the addons you mention. Are those required for the "search" button to appear in our crafting window? Or to allow us to have both AH and crafting window open?

How do i switch craftsim off while actually crafting. I need it only to figure out what i am going to craft, at the auction house. It's too laggy otherwise.

You can toggle off each of the modules using the control panel on the top of the menu, if you want the whole addon gone you’ll have to disable it in your addon menu and reload

Hi, I have a question, how can u open profession window and AH window at the same time, and the search button in profession. I have auctionator, I remember I can do that before dragon flight prepatch but not anymore after.

Yep! Like Scott mentioned, I recommend Blizzmove and Demodal , technically you can get by with just Demodal but I recommend both

Hi Penguin. There's a Recipe that i can make 2 items per craft. And my Craftsim says to me that i'll have 32 gold profit. Is this profit splited by 2 items or It will be 32 gold per item? I'll have 64 gold profit in total or splited in 16 gold per item?

It is per craft!, so it would be 16g per item for a total of 32g profit per craft

heres an issue with craft sim, it breaks my UI anytime i mouse over the skill box and i have to reload , AND every time i get an update it turns itself back on al all of my characters that i have it turned off, so every day i have to turn it off on 15 characters that dont need it also issue with TSM any time i need to mill herbs or combine motes or primals it breaks my ui so i must disable it to do what i need to do then turn it back on to post stuff on AH really annoying trying to do quick flips and i usually miss the window to get it back up on AH to sell from having to reload ui every time any ideas what causes the crashes?

Have you tried disabling all addons besides CraftSim? If CraftSim works without any other addons enabled, you know there’s a conflict going on between it and another. Then you can go thru enabling a few at a time and see which addon is causing the issue

@@Penguinr2gt not too worried about the bug from mouseover skill box part its more of the enabling itself after every update part i only want it active on 1 char not the other 12 that i have to turn it off every update on 12 characters or else i need to reload ui every few minutes :P

Any idea how I can make it buy the cheapest material when quality doesn't matter? It seems like when it stops looking at quality it isn't buying the cheapest for me, rather the lowest quality. Edit: I'm guessing I should craft in bulk but item by item. Any mass crafting has a chance of mixing bad materials in the wrong crafts it seems.

TSM has a ton of issues right now with quality and I don’t recommend using it besides for price sources. I recommend restocking and everything on your own until it updates

I dont know if im missing something - but whichever item im trying to craft with either profession is negative value. All the components are more expensive to buy then just buying the item itself..

You are never guaranteed profit - it all comes down to your skill and stats. Someone with 150 skill and 35% inspiration is going to have way different margins compared to someone with only 20% inspiration or 100 skill

i think the equation is wrong tbh,shouldnt the last sentence,"average mats cost saved from resourcefulness" be a + than a - ?

MCS, materials costs saved by resourcefulness, is subtracted from the crafting cost. So if your crafting cost is 100g but you save 5g worth of mats from resourcefulness proccing, your crafting cost only becomes 95 (100-5).

It’s apart of Auctionator, you need Demodal (and Blizzmove) to have both the AH and profession window open and it will appear

Have you first tried to see if you have anything conflicting... disabling everything besides blizzmove/demodal/auctionator and see if it works? If its still not showing after that try these: 1. make sure you have both windows visible fully on your screen - sometimes it freaks out if not 2. Try disabling and reenabling crafting cost within your auctionator settings 3. Try adjusting your ui scale and see if it pops up 4. Open the AH, change some tabs and see if it populates let me know if it still doesnt work

Make sure you have TSM selected as your source if that is what you plan to use. Then make sure you have your TSM application running with your realm added
