Long press on the icon and you see trash can icon appear. Drag the shortcut into it.

It is good to shutdown after the car turns off. It saves the car battery to drain out.

If you have screen guard it might be the reason. Or try cleaning the screen with alcohol wipes. If that doesn’t work, try calibrating the touch points.
