During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Bill Burr revealed that he would have appeared in Better Call Saul season 5, but that he had to decline because of the health of a loved one: "I was supposed to be on it, and unfortunately I had somebody who was dying, and I knew if I did it, I was going to miss. I had to visit him, I had to say goodbye. It sucked. The whole thing sucked. Because Vince Gilligan is the reason why I have an acting career." Bill Burr was supposed to be in a episode of Better Call Saul too but had a family emergency or something. That Mr X guy, aka the guy Mike stole the guns from in an earlier episode, who Jimmy and Kim hire as a private detective to investigate Kevin Wachtell, that was supposed to be Bill Burr. Which is why he has a line that's a reference to breaking bad, when he says "you want specifics?", which is the exact same line he says in breaking bad to Mr Eyebrows. When someone from one area of entertainment tries to move to another (think sports stars trying to act, musicians trying to be comedians etc) it usually fails so hard but Bill Burr is legitimately a good actor. Not just in this show either, he had a very powerful storyline in The Mandalorian too which he delivered great. I wish he had more opportunities to appear in stuff.

I think it was on a podcast where Bill said he was a big fan of the show’s early seasons, and he told his agent to do anything he could to get him on the show as an extra or a minor part. He didn’t care what he was doing, he just wanted to be a part of it. And ol Billy fuckin delivered on his character.

Although his absence was due to scheduling conflicts, i think the reason Kuby doesn't appear in Better Call Saul is because he's one of several contacts in the vet's book. And Jimmy begins to require his services after acquiring the notebook (after 2004) and learning about him.
For some reason them deciding to use a real UPS certified mail slip was satisfying. Made the whole scene just feel more realistic

And once Walt showed he either didn't notice or didn't care they try to offer to unload them wherever they need to go so they could skim a little more
I wish Bill was in more shows/movies, he's a natural actor

i am so glad Gilligan likes using comedians. can never get enough of ol' freckles.
I just discovered Bill burr as a comedian, this makes me apreciate this scenes even more, this series is perfect
Dude, I've watched this series too many times, but each time I watch clips from it I feel like it's time to go back for another binge
Kuby was one of my favorite side characters of the show. He kinda showed up outta nowhere and vanished the same manner. We don't really know anything about his character, other than his name and he works for Saul. Makes him mysterious. I wish we saw what happened to him after BB.

He's escaped and is a free man. When Saul phoned Francesca she says she doesn't know what happened to Kuby so it implies he's free.
God that ted fall is seriously so funny to watch. He slides at Mach 3 right into his neck. Such a great stunt, and a great scene

and how the oranges roll off hitting him. Plus shot from above with his body and limbs splayed out odd angled.
I think the guy who made the fake key of Howard’s car for Saul would of been the perfect place to introduce Kuby

unfortunately Bill Burr was busy at that time, that would've been great
He looks like Vincent van Gogh.
From "That guy from Breaking Bad" to "All Bill Burr Scenes from Breaking Bad". Not bad you red bastard
They were do disappointed when they realized Walt wouldn't be able to tell if they took a little
The look on Huel and Kuby’s face when Walt says “Close enough” is absolutely hilarious. They missed their moment to take a couple racks. Lol

That last scene is three comedians in a car delivering some really serious material, and that is really funny to me for some reason.
What a charismatic actor. Loved every scene with him in it
"We are here to do a job, not channel Scrooge McDuck" lol
1:30 I absolutely loved this scene!
Man i've been waiting for a video like this to be on youtube for years. Thank you!
He must feel so lucky to have been in the best series ever made.

I loved Bill in Mando as well. I hope he gets more roles. He's both fun to watch and hilarious.
if Bill Burr is repeating what Skylar has word for word, I can't help but imagine at 2:02 him saying "okay baby" to Bogdan
Bill made every scene he was in on this show feel like a Tarantino film

I love the "this way" at 3:23 , must've cased the house out for weeks lmao
When someone from one area of entertainment tries to move to another (think sports stars trying to act, musicians trying to be comedians etc) it usually fails so hard but Bill Burr is legitimately a good actor. Not just in this show either, he had a very powerful storyline in The Mandalorian too which he delivered great. I wish he had more opportunities to appear in stuff.
"Reasonably" 🤣
I think it was on a podcast where Bill said he was a big fan of the show’s early seasons, and he told his agent to do anything he could to get him on the show as an extra or a minor part. He didn’t care what he was doing, he just wanted to be a part of it. And ol Billy fuckin delivered on his character.
This is the moment Breaking Bad became Breaking Burr
There's no question that Bill Burr killed this roll, but can we talk about Lavell Crawford as well? I love the energy he brought with him.
The last scene in the vehicle. Talk about 3 generational talents in one shot. So many laughs and entertainment generated. We are all so lucky to be able to watch over and over.
14:50 might be the funniest line in the entire series 🤣
1:00 The difference in eyebrows is amazing 😂
Yessssss! Thank you for posting love! ❤️❤️
The last one is three accomplished comedians in a very serious scene.
I remember "Belize" but had forgotten about "ol' Yeller"! Freaking classics!
Love how he just pokes the tensioner into the padlock and doesn't even use the pick 😂
This is almost like suddenly seeing Bill in a Star Wars show. What? Great job as always.
Are we going to ignore the fact that three men were attempting to push a fully loaded dump truck off the railroad tracks? That equates to at least 14 tons.

9:22 he still does the “relax it’s a civilian” hand thing because he’s so used to working with Huel lol
He did absolutely amazing in these scenes. Proud of him
Bill during the train scene is actually high up there for great performance moments in this show filled with so much little jokes and ques and he nails them
Love the stretch before pushing.
I never knew who bill burr was while watching breaking bad, but I remember his character so well, he did such a great job
For some reason, for the longest time I had not realized this was Bill Burr. Im so used to seeing him angry and ranting. Brilliant.
Comedians are the best at serious acting roles. A whole new unseen side to them just waiting to be unleashed.
One of my all time favorite comedians. Wish he would do more movie stuff. Liked him in "The king of staten island"
It's a shame they didnt write Bill Burr's character into Better Call Saul. Could have been a true testament to the strength of Rogaine.
Even if Bills character was kind of forgettable, that must be cool looking back on your career and knowing you were in such an iconic series

Love Bill Burr.. was hoping so much to see him in Better Call saul!!
Also the irony of ‘we’re walking we’re swinging our feet” prior to what happens to him….this show even if it wasn’t intentional, still
Knowing Bill Burr now, each of these scenes/moments in the show make it more golden than it already is, damn.
2 of my 4 favorite comedians
Wow I never noticed bill. One of my favourite comics
Honestly, the IRS owes Kuby & Huell a serious commission for their efforts to settle up with Mr Beneke - in full and with the utmost speed and professionalism, and the government really should consider employing these guys’ talents with their other heavily delinquent accounts.
He's a great actor damn
Ted would rather suffer a concussion than keep Huell reasonably happy
