All American Triple Loop At Indiana Beach 4K POV

This 4K POV was recorded during the All American Triple Loop roller coaster's media day on May 9, 2024 and was provided courtesy of Indiana Beach.
Originally opening in 1984 at Sunway Lagoon as Triple Loop Coaster, this Schwarzkopf roller coaster has since been relocated to Flamingo Land as Magnum Force, Aztlán Parque Urbano as Quimera, and now Indiana Beach as All American Triple Loop. The trains are the former trains from Mindbender at Galaxyland, which closed in 2023.

ALL American: built in Germany, sold to the UK, then to Malaysia, then to Mexico, finally Indiana. 😂 Still looks like a nice ride.

This is my favorite of the Schwarzkopf loopers. The first drop inside the structure is amazing and the forces are phenomenal. I do wonder how it runs with those odd 3-car trains from Mindbender, though. The original used to run 5 trains with up to 5-7 cars. The G´s were incredible. Also a bit sad that they they continue to run it with those horrible accordion restraints. Those were a retrofit on Schwarzkop´s Thriller (4-loop coaster). Thriller used to run with just a lapbar in it´s first year but got the accordions afterwards due to excessive forces. Triple loop used to have lapbars only.

Great to see Indiana Beach getting this ride open! Hopefully they're able to keep it running for many, many more years. Little note, its opening in 1984 was on the German fair circuit. It didn't end up at Sunway Lagoon until the late 90s. 1997, i think?

People need to stop making hate videos about this coaster. It's rough I get it but gene has his resources spread over 3 parks. Enthusists say they love Indiana beach yet make hit pieces for views. All those videos will do is convince people not to go, which will cost the parks money, and puts it in danger of closing. The coaster had a rough opening im sure they will fix it. In all fairness the fact that we still have this ride at all is a miracle. Gene saved it for the enthusists when in reality it should have gone to the scrap yard. Cut the man some slack. You have no idea how hard it is to run 3 amusment parks that were full of damaged rides. Bad enough they have to deal with hell cat. I just hope gene sells laser loop becaise these old schwartzcopf coasters are money pits. But if people keep making hit pieces on this ride the park will just scrap it. The problem is the train. Just like Goliath when it got new trains.

I just rode this yesterday, it wasn’t quite as intense as I was hoping, but still a very decent ride. The OTSRs are annoying, so you need to brace yourself most of the ride, which is not great. But it is worth it to revive this classic.

yep, using trains from a defunct coaster that suffered the same fate albeit 30 years ago (Derailment). They should have asked premiere or B&M to design new trains. Me personally all that money spent to refurbish something... only too utilize parts from a ride that suffered a deadly accident seems stupid. just get new trains and call it day. Refurbishment of trains doesn't change the fact the ride and its train have endured 30 years+ of constant use and abuse. Trains are not meant to be used forever some trains can be refurbished, such as PTC woodie trains, but if they see high forces they need to be replaced at some point.

That’s tragic as we all know and my heart goes out to the loved ones of the victims. However, it wasn’t the roller coaster itself that killed. In fact the coaster didn’t kill anyone. It was human negligence that killed those people. Let’s not forget that.

@@CoasterHead It doesn't matter if it was refurbished. Doesn't change the fact two people died when it stood at the pervious park in Mexico and a mirror version model that stood in Alberta suffered a similar fate, and ironically the trains from the Alberta version are being used on this version as the Mall which housed Mindbender removed the ride due to age and its reputation. the refurb works looks great, I won't say that it doesn't but it doesn't matter how much you refurb something... a house, car, whatever, it doesn't change its history. Plus, I don't think it was a good idea to use trains from a similar model coaster that had the same issue. If you're going to spend all that money why not have premiere or B&M design and build new trains. You spent million to buy it and refurb it, why not spend the money for new trains. Remember this model coaster is over 30+ years old, I don't care how much REFURB work you do that doesn't change the years of forces exerted on the train carriage. Don't get me wrong these travel loopers were some of Anton's best work... but again, you can't change history. Just because you put lipstick on pig doesn't change the fact it is still a pig.
