Sending and receiving Happy Mail is something I also just started with this year. And it gives me so much inspiration! Love these envelopes.💝 Before I asked people personally, threw Instagram, I first joined a Facebook group that exchanged handmade paper projects, mostly cards with some ephemera inside. This was a Dutch group, but I know some are international and often they agree on the postage amount before hand. I stopped with Facebook to limit my amount of social media, but Instagram, KZread and Pinterest are such nice sources of inspiration. That is if I don’t spend hours and hours online🙃🤫.

Sparkle-tastic! I've always liked the concept of happy mail, but haven't gone into making "official" pocket letters or happy mail this artistic way. I'm going to give it a shot though. Very pretty project!

Great video, thanks for sharing. I make texture paste from gesso + talcum powder+ PVA glue. It smells fantastic 😂And I've seen similar stencils to those square ones on Amazon.

Try adding some baking soda to your paste you do not like. Its one of many things used to make home made ... Maybe it will help you recoup your money. Try mixing a small amount on a pallet(plastic packaging from fruits and vegis if you do not have a pallet to try it on), before altering the whole jar.

Try adding since talcum powder or cornstarch to the soft texture paste. Out worked fit my 10 years old very soft paste. Best luck! I haven't done happy mail yet but i love the idea. I have done swaps before but was pretty sad that some stuff didn't make it to the recipient - probably got "lost" at the border (from eu to usa) so i didn't do more. Are there any rules about what to put inside, the value of things you put inside,etc?

I always include things I love using myself and also usually ask the recipient of there is anything in particular they want. I hope you give it another try.

@@49dragonflies i hope it will work for you. Sorry for the spelling Mt phone corrects me and is not very good at that:). i will give h.m. a go. That was crafty swap and it was fun but only the toy made it to the swaper, the jewlery and other stuff were lost from the same package. I hope they don't open packages at the customs anymore. They don't do it in Europe as far as i know ( at least where i live). I will try to find some groups (i suck at soc. Media, not a fan;). I started doing some mail for my kids for starters:D as my friends are not very crafty... I'll try to find a way to make it suitable:).

Soft paste ? - I too got some by mistake but I just mix some builders sand into it and it works a treat! Thank you for fun video, I have only just subscribed / found you and love your style x
