I said the Saddledome was the oldest arena? Yeesh... it's actually Climate Pledge in a way (originally opened in 1962) and then MSG (1968), but yeah I was just in the mindset of most outdated, which the Saddledome is, hence the NHL's plea for Calgary to get a new arena.

The sens arena has a new LED sign they put in a couple seasons ago wirh really adds to the front view of it! That being said as a sens season ticket holder.. I'm surprised how high you had the CTC but happy to see it. Great video

PNC Arena is expected to start renovations in 2024, which will see a MAJOR change. PNC Arena’s south end also recently got some new lighting so at night, they’ll light it up in some cool colors (typically trying to match with what artist is performing that night or if the hurricanes have a theme).

I think it would be hysterical if somehow a semi crashed off of the highway next to scotiabank arena and landed in the arena. At some point something like that is bound to happen

@IceWyre I would have thought Rogers Arena would rank much higher in terms of accessibility (at least #15). You've got Skytrain Stations that include Main Street and Chinatown that literally stop right bedside the building and the fact it's situated right on the cusp of Downtown, not either too far out or too far in would surely rank it higher. Ignoring my own bias as a Canucks fan, I think stadiums should be ranked not just in terms of looks but in terms of how adequate it is getting there. You hear of people complaining about the long walk to get to CTC in Ottawa. I guarantee you they'd much prefer this.

It's hard to do a list like that if you haven't commuted to every arena. To me, I'm looking at the architecht's point of view rather than the city planner's point of view. As I mentioned in the video, I don't have architect expertice in any way, but I have FAR LESS in the city planning area, especially when I've only been to Rogers Arena and the Saddledome (and the Saddledome was like 13 or 14 years ago, so I don't even remember that). That being said, I did absolutely appreciate the accesibility of Rogers Arena! I will agree that it's extremely well set up and planned out. But yeah, again, it's just a lack of knowledge of the overall areas and lack of expertice in city planning that limited my ranking to being just about how I think they look on the outside.

Even as a Canucks fan (not saying I hate the Oilers as I don't dislike any franchise), I really want to go to Rogers Place lmao it looks amazing from the interior and the exterior
