My favorites are the Atelier Iris & Mana Khemia sub-series! (Yeah I included Mana Khemia 🤷‍♂) What's yours? 😁

I only played atelier iris 2 and 3 for the ps2 back when i was younger and i really enjoyed it too. I also played the first mana khemia for the ps2 and never really played the second game. Now i have been looking to get back into the atelier series too. Thanks for the great video.

Great video recap of the series. I didn’t get into the series until the PS3 era, but I see a lot of people say Mana Khemia is their favorite. Here’s hoping it gets a port someday.

Yep, after the PS2 era the games put much more emphasis on the alchemy part and cute girls so a lot of players got turned off from it. 😅

Which game do you recommend to start the series? Can I start with Atelier Ryza 1?

I have only ever played Atelier Iris and never kept up with the series. I thought it was fun and it came with a neat soundtrack. I did buy the first part of the Ryza trilogy but have yet to get to it amidst the deluge of quality JRPG's. My brother loved the Mana Khemia subseries but I don't think he has played any others.

However ONLY the IRIS games to Ryza 3 are the ONLY ones to leave Japan the 3 games Marie Ellie and Lilly + the Judie and Violet NEVER left Japan. Atelier Marie's remake will be the 26th game in total but still have it be only the 22nd or so game in ENGLISH text the 2009 onwards games ie the ONES after Mana Khemia 2 all of them only have English TEXT but ONLY Japanese voice acting in them. Mana Khemia 2 was the LAST game I played but that's because I can't stand the TIMED limits of most of the games AFTER that the 3 Ryza games don't but those 3 Ryza games for alchemy take too long went it can take like 20+ minutes just to make a SINGLE item and I can't stand that either.

You have 26 on your list, but the title of the video claims 27.
