Ahnald I'd love to see you react to some of your older videos and testing of new characters at the time. Was watching you testing Rey and some moments felt just outrageous at the time, now they're just another day in GoH lol.

My favorite has been defender and captain Rex. I was in a position with my roster to work on them asap. I absolutely love what they bring to my roster

Honestly, I wouldn't have minded that 2 hour cut, Ahnald :D

Tie defender was hands down my favorite ship as well! The way it was released made it my first “day 1” 7* unlock and it worked way better for me day 1 as opposed to marauder. Such a fun ship to use, and it made me decide to go for a non requirement character. A+ LLTKE!

Happy New Year! I feel like you missed the most important element of the Sith ships, though, which is how they finally gave Endurance a fleet to lead if you don't have Leviathan ;) Auto'd through the current fleet GC with them under Endurance.

Completely agree with this list aside from one thing. I’ve been the biggest Trench defender ever since he’s come and it comes from one crucial change in the lineup in GA. I’ve gotten holds against Malgus’s, BB, Troopers and more by switching Dooku for Zam omi. It adds so much more speed and damage to Jango almost putting him at GL speed with over 20k offence with all the trench bonuses from tech and extortion. I would still only put trench in the ok category but I’ve definitely had fun with him

I unlocked reva due my guild I have pretty much all g8 minus 1 at g12 and I managed to beat the cls node in sector 3

I was sad that I went straight to yellow full zetas and Omicrons and all on Saw, but honestly he’s doing number on defense for me. Especially in 3v3s with Chirrut and Baze

I've only had 5 people beat my Levi on defence since I put it there, and only 1 of them was a one-shot. I'm not in kyber 1, but I've beaten 10m accounts thanks to the ship.

Zorri, Trench, and the Maurader all were very random units this year. None of them are required for anything either. I could see Zorri getting a Defender level ship to boost the Resistance fleet next year. Trench will definitely get a little boost when he gets Wat back from SEE. I hope that Saw gets that one dude from Andor to help him out. It would be fun and I think Saw needs it badly but we have to hope that nobody else snipes him (cough Leia). I think if we got Hanharr or Gungi for Tarful he would be better too. I don’t think anyone we got this year is beyond saving but some things do need help. Anyhoo have a happy new year.

Speaking of Reva, my guild just unlocked her this past TB. I had not done the GI event yet so I used her and damn it was easy lol. Such a fun team to use!

Happy new year firstly. My tie defender, at r5, doesn't do anything like what yours seems to. Hardly ever dodges. I guess if I can get round to putting higher relics on Iden it will be better, but at average relic levels it's disappointing

Merrin even at low stars and with non relic Nightsisters does work on jabba with the omicron. I have cleared out a jabba team all the way to solo jabba even with the new bush(?) Leia datacron She is incredible

Just came back to playing this game after 2 years of absence. Idk what to really focus on now. The Jedi Survivor team I'd want to get cause I love the game. I'm finishing finally getting GL Kylo Ren. After that though, idk what to focus on.

The Pass category could be renamed this year to the Bench category. Or Stench... Also I think it would be nice to see this year's reworks on this list like ISC, Lobot or Endurance

Nice video. Sith bomber could have been considered as « new » because it had literally no use before leviathan and it is the true corner stone of this fleet

Thanks for all the great vids this year, Ahnadlt! Why the excessive use of the zoom in this video? Made it hard to watch. Really think Tarfull is a pass. Haven’t farmed him past g12 don’t seem to be missing anything.

I guess with Ahsoka series dippin into nighsisters ,they might get better next year with possible empire or empire remnant synergies

I do think Merrin belongs in Amazing. She just hyper boosted the sisters. I also think Defender is better than Maurader simply for the fact that Marauder takes 1200 kyros to get good....

In 5v5 I will say tarfful is great as a plug n play team as long as you have 2 wookiees and 2 others. Malak is great there to.

Leviathan is amazing, now. But on release it was so dang buggy that even though I was probably 80% through the farm for it, just waiting on Fury class and 5OR-T, I was very tempted to just abandon all the months of dedicated work and shift gears back into an entirely new GL farm. It was undoubtedly the biggest proof we ever had that CG does not playtest their game on a version of the live release because the sheer number of easily repeatable bugs that cropped up through just normal gameplay, not crazy team interactions or deliberate cheese basically killed the ship out of the dry dock.

The Leviathan is still bugged out in mirror matches where it sometimes takes away all the buttons. Super annoying in fleet arena

Got any predictions for heros journey, new galactic legends for 2024?

The thing I like about Leviathan is not stressing out in fleet arena anymore lol

I'd also have put Kneesa in the Good category, but not for her strength, that would more put her in the Ok area, simply because she makes life a little easier in the 3PO event

trench would be good if his leader wasn't that specified as it is now maybe they should make it more separatist droid friendly and add more droids so you could mix and match with grievous

2023 was a much better year for characters and ships than the last couple of years. Can't wait to finally finish unlocking all of them by 2025.

Maybe i am the only one but i am using cal kestis in a starkiller team instead of visas marr and it demolishes alot more lol

Can you make a 2024 farming guide

Trench gets a lot of use out of me. Rey counter (baring cal isnt on the team) in TW and TB...always getting waves for me kn several planets. Gac...maybe the least use but typically O wins short staffed against mid tier squads

Just made me realize, maybe the beginning/middle of next year will house Andor characters? Maybe another imperial team featuring Syril and an officer tag and maybe a Rebel Extremist that helps Saw Gerrara by adding Luthen and maybe a younger Andor along with some of the heist people? I dunno, would be pretty cool to see!

Hard to say. Usually within a year of a show's release they add characters. Maybe they thought it would not be profitable to do Andor content?

@@AhnaldT101 Considering how utterly popular the show has become after it had (I believe) a relatively slow debut and then exponential growth, I'm sure they'll add in Andor characters in due time. More than likely they focused on Mando S3 because there was a lot more they could do with the new Bo-Katan. You could also argue any new character is not as profitable as the lightspeed bundles lol

I'd call Leviathan both amazing and OK at the same time, I've never seen a meta capital ship be countered on defense by so many far easier to obtain fleets that is also capable of full autoing basically everything on offense
