My guild has added over 12M GP in less than 24 hours. Rey was our least popular GL with only 5 in the entire guild. I think that's going to be a lot higher in 4 months time.

Finalizer and Raddus events actually come around twice a month. So without refreshes you’ll get 20 shards a month. So cut that farm time to 3 1/2 months for 5-stars once you unlock final tier.

That’s why I left in the 3-6 month estimate as the frequency varies 1-2 times a month. Finalizer is a 6+ month grind because you got to farm most of his requirements still and then do the event.

@@AhnaldT101 One thing I haven't seen people comment on is that they don't give you a 7* capital ship. It isn't an issue for long term players, but newish players who are buying the HDB to be able to buy these probably don't have a 7* capital ship, which means they won't be able to even start the Raddus grind. Would it really have killed them to throw in a 7* Home One or Executrix. It was probably a genuine mistake, but I suspect that there will be a lot of upset players in a few days time, and the grind for that seventh star is hellishly slow.

Too add a bit of Optimism as well, maybe this will encourage who ever at the head of CG is to make more great deals like this. Considering this is definitely gotta be in the top 5 of most sold Packs

Right!? This is the sort of pricing and content we as a Community want, moving forwards. So far I’ve only bought the BB-8 Bundle (JUST FOR The First Order Relic 5 upgrades.. When most of them weren’t even Gear 12). But I’m heavily contemplating buying the Raddus pack, honestly. I’m hoping that after the 14-days are up, they add in some new bundles with the same content/results. Maybe some Jedi Knight Luke or Galactic Republic/Separatist Relic characters, for the likes of General Skywalker. But this is actually great pricing. Thanks, Capital Games!👏🏼

9.1 (now 9.4 million) gp player. This cut literal years off of my grind. I’m almost to SEE as well; this got me 4 relic levels away from SLKR. 9 relics from Rey. Boosted my ships, hopefully got me the finalizer counter to exec. Amazing. I’m going from 2 to 5 gls in months now. I’m already borderline k2 with 2 gls in gac. This is a huge upgrade for me. The only problem I’m going to run into is not having enough monster mods for all these new toons

WOOOOOOO I was at 8.4 and now I’m at 8.9 after the Rey bundles! All I need BB-8 and I can start unlocking rey! I was the furthest away from Rey, not anymore!

$20 + 7-Star Chimaera = top 40 in my fleet shard for the first time ever. The value from these packs is MASSIVE if you include the potential crystal income from fleet arena.

I bought that BB-8 bundle... And after Sith Trooper did over 100k damage during testing, I knew it was worth it!

And I got the satisfaction of not needing to painstakingly level up Rose Tico manually. Buy the pack then...Boom. I honestly never thought I would go for Rey even though I already had five other Galactic Legends. But this is going to let me unlock her within the next month. Absolutely loved these packs. I do wonder the true intentions of CG, though....hmm.

I think CG is either: -overcompensating for conquest glitches -trying to eradicate every f2p player on the planet -just wants more money even though they have an army of uberwhales who will drop hundreds a week if they need to -trying to make themselves look better with the playerbase (good luck pal.)

EA definitely wouldn’t do something like that, this is probably their most profitable mobile game (I’m probably wrong about that but anyways) and even if it was a fire sale they’d probably sell the packs for way more since they probably know how much people spend to get relic characters.

Honestly, as someone who did grind for Rey, Kylo, and Star, I LOVE that they are doing this!!! It's so good for new players and makes the game a bit more accessible. But it also helps strengthen mid-sized guilds overall! Like in my guild only two of us had Rey but now everyone is buying the packs and making her their current farm which only helps us get better! Love this, hope they do more packs like these in the future

I bought all the packs. Even spent the $10 for the BB8 pack just to take my FO Tie Pilots from relic 3 to 5. Thanks CG! This was a home run.

I just finished up my SLKR grind a few weeks ago. All the zeta, all the gear, and all the relics, took about a year of grinding. Now everyone can get it done with ten bucks and a little grind to finish it off. We move forward by standing on the shoulders of those who came before us. It hurts but it's worth it. This is the best offer CG has ever given and will probably ever give. I believe these packs are 100% worth it.

I really don’t like spending on this game but I neglected the sequel characters for so long and was going to be years from getting either GL, now there is a fair possibility I get 3 GLS up and running in the next six months. Even with me buying two of the bundles. It’s well worth it for the 20 I spent.

I broke my F2P streak on these and have no regrets. I was going to take a break from chasing the meta to farm SLKR but First Order (and Resistance) were easily my most under geared factions. $50 NZD later and I'll now have SLKR and Rey before the end of the year. Like most new things CG put out (Conquest is a prime example) they start good then get progressively worse as they try to get more money out of them. When CG sees how many people bought them I can definitely see these packs being more expensive if they come round again.

I agree i already have SLKR and i tried to get friends and family into the game but that beginning grind discouraged them. I’m not mad at this deal, the game needs new players and to make money to continue and i want the game to continue. It kinda sucks i could’ve been grinding towards something different then got these bundles but you can’t predict the future but we want SWGOH to have a future and i see this as a big brain move to keeping the SWGOH engine going. Not to mention if these packs do well I’m sure they will likely do packs similar to this for other units in the future that people like me will be able to benefit from. I can think of a few conquests units and GLs I’d love to see similar packs on that could save huge in farming requirements *cough lord failure cough* It’s a great day in the empire today indeed

I'm pretty sure CG is testing a new model of monetization with these packs, that's why they have so different pricing and amount of characters each. They want to see how much can they charge. I do like that they are opening to sell packs with much better value than anything we've ever seen. Also, it has been a couple of years since I was starved from zetas, but I just unlocked Jabba and also got my Phoenix up to g12 and zeta for the Captain Rex team. And just now they drop these packs and now I have all the Rey requirements ready, while I don't even have a single zeta for her. I'm gonna need your Zeta prority guide so much the coming weeks, so I appreciate it a lot right now! As always thanks for your content GA, LLTKE!

Got back into the game a few weeks ago after getting back into your content, currently working my way for GAS. With these packs, I'm gonna go after SLKR next, hope they're gonna have one pack soon for Kylo's shuttle cause I'm still very far away from unlocking it.

Great deals and very happy to see them, but it feels bad for those that dedicated their farms to aspects of it. All of those crystal refreshes on Hounds tooth and Bossk sting a bit now

As a 4.5 mil GP (basically FTP) player - just unlocking SLKR and grinding Bossk ship… this definitely stings. Took a long time to go for SLKR… started before the Krayt when I didn’t know he wasn’t gonna be a necessary. Now I at least can tag along and get Rey… but yeah this was rough

It is a tough thing to balance and probably something CG themselves are monitoring. Balancing the players that need a catch up and respecting the investment people made with their time/money is a delicate balance. I see both sides of it although I tend to lean more towards making them game more accessible for people to enjoy.

So I got SLKR while also already having a lot of other things relic/tooned… so therefore I caught onto SLKR late, but I do agree that it is beneficial to “accelerate” these 2 GLs to get more interested from players that have been grinding forever on this game. Makes it more rewarding and certainly more entertaining

I got every single one. Got me like 500k GP and 10/14 on both sequel GL requirements

I only needed to spend $9.99. Then I was able start on unlocking GL Rey. Definitely worth it for me. Excellent video as usual.

I bought everything but the Star Killer pack. I also bought the hyperdrive bundle many years ago so that’s nice that I didn’t need to buy that. I went from 4.6 million GP to 5.24 million. I was 7/16 reqs for GL Kenobi, but nothing else really. Now for both GL Rey and SLKR, I’m 10/14. Just that alone is insane value and the ships as well… Also I’m very happy to anyone else who can catch up now because it makes me happy to know more people will be playing the game. Bring back the awesome community!

Grand Admiral! Would you consider putting together a lengthy video showing exactly where GL Rey, SLKR, the Raddus fleet and the Finalizer fleet fit into the current climate of SWGOH? I haven’t spent in years. Yep, me and my brother both bought all 4 packs for our accounts. This is a smash success CG, do more of this.

you havent considered a couple of things: 1. the Ebon Hawk helps a lot when it comes to Executor v Executor counters and it requires a crap ton of cantina energy, that 20$ is worth it that ship alone because it saves MONTHS of farming with the sad droprate and helps you on signal data 2. The OR toons at R5 with some mods allows you to get 300-450k points in the Krayt Dragon so it may boost some guilds to get a higer crate 3. if you buy the Hyperdrive AND the 20$ you can start earning zetas cuz those powerful ships are enough to get past the Executrix challenge so yeah theyve thought of everything

So glad I went JMK -> SEE -> JML rather than SLKR. For those of you that went REY early, that’s on you - no guide out there recommend her as any of your first 3 GLs.

I love it. I only ever had JTR at R3 for hsr long ago and I had zorri team as my next off team. This has considerably made my zorri farm to GAC useable AND I didn't have to waste any resources on Rose!

Funny enough, these packs came out right at the end of my SLKR prerequisite grind. The gems I got from it let me afford my final 999 gem replay of the finalizer event. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

I love these bundles cause I didn't have any of these, plus my plans for getting two GLs next year (leia and jabba, qhich this helped slightly woth the hounds tooth, I only had it at 6 stars) have now gone to four (with rey and luke, cause the JTR was my main barrier). I do understand why some people aren't happy about these after spending time grinding for them but they are the oldest GLs and this is a temporary catch up mechanic. If it were newer GLs i don't think I'd like it but it isn't.

I went exec rush into SEE so this was easily the best package deals imaginable. Although the thought of having to do all new mod sets for atleast 10 of the 20 something shiny toys I just bought is a scary thought 😂

Huge props to CG on this one, was easily looking at a 12 month grind for Rey. I just started the JML event so I will be up to 5 GLs within probably 2 months rather than 4.

I didn’t have a single resistance character besides Han reliced. I’ve never been more hyped in my life. The amount of time this saved me from grinding upgrading characters I don’t care about is priceless.

I expect the reason it was more expensive was because all those characters are using cantina currency to farm which is way more useful in the game.

I would really appreciate a video helping hyperdrive buyers to know what paths they can take. That would be super helpful because I feel like I botched my hyper drive.

im glad that i was getting gl luke first and kenobi second, i got so much out of these packs

I have not spent any money in a long time. But this morning I bought the Raddus pack. I feel like theres enough gp and ships theyre going to stretch GAC again, add another fleet. Raddus and the Levithon are the only fleets I dont have so this was huge. I had Carth at g11 and T3 at like 9. This was amazing, also for Young Lando. Just a great pack.

time is such a priceless thing both irl and in this game. the fact that these packs potentially shave off years IS PRICELESS

I had no thoughts on going for GL Rey or Kylo, since my current projects are Jedi Cal and other gaming characters, but for $50 for all packs available to me, it's a steal. Now that I hit the 4mil threshold, I can grind for CAT, Ben, Maul, and hopefully Malgus. My guild still runs HSR so I can now dust off JTR to have a good phase 1 team.

I love these packs, and I'm in an almost perfect position for them. I farmed my fleets but ignored resistance and FO largely. All I need is 4 characters from r5 to 7 (I have see and jml) so these packs are perfection!

I'm a FTP player but this is too good to be true dropping $50 asap

Could you make a video buying these packs and the hyperdrive bundle? Then track the progress to see how quick you can get a GL.

Spot on regarding the value. I won't buy $100 packs on principle, but I bought two of the Rey chase packs immediately today, not just because they are great value but because farming Rose Tico and other Resistance is never going to a priority -- there's always something better to be farming. Sadly, I am more than halfway to Starkiller so that pack is not attractive. Let's hope that the positive response from the fan base wakes CG up and makes them realize that affordable packs plus enjoyable game modes (as opposed to their recent years' pattern of ever more impossible, RNG-driven, throw-your-device TBs and character unlock challenges) are the key to a growing and happy player base. Whale will always whale, but pulling in and retaining everyone else is the key to longevity.

I missed two things from the old Ahnald: FIX YOUR GAME, CG! and Datacron Rage. I really need that in my life.

These packs were golden for me. I skipped SLKR and Rey. I skipped practically all resistance characters as well as first order. I went for JMK and JML. That's all to say that I'm happy with my purchases.

Agreed, it's a good way to support the game. These packs were the first purchases I've made and I've been playing since release. I think if prices were more in this range, more people would purchase these packs.

Definitely the best thing since the Hyperspace bundle a couple of years back, and even here the Hyperspace is absolute cannon fodder compared to these 10-20 dollar bundles. As a player of 5 years and onward, I really think it’s funny how whenever Capital Games puts out something like this because everyone goes bonkers really referring to that it’s such a rare occurrence. Get these packs quick guys because I just have that hunch that they’ll eventually up the prices!

I kid you not, after I lost my F2P card in the morning to get all these bundles, I immediately went to the team builds, zetas and omnicrons, and the google doc spreadsheet for which ones to prioritize from your videos. Being as old as SWGOH in terms of F2P, I had finally unlocked my first GL, JML (was unlocking other characters that I wanted and atm almost ready for Executor), I knew this is was going to be a huge leap forward in unlocking 2 GL's PLUS unlocking Starkiller day one. Hopefully CG does the same for JMK and LV.

Is there a possibility they'll add similar bundles for other legendaries and GLs as well? Like, a GAS bundle with ships and R5 droids, or LV bundle with bad batch and some other stuff. I've got both of these GLs, but really tempting to buy the Raddus pack to get Ahsoka (she's R1), T3&Carth (t12) and L3&Lando (t5 maybe t6) straight to R5

I’m a 2.5 year player. Was 4.2m and about a month away from unlocking Jedi Master Luke. I just need to finish gearing a couple of toons from R2/3 up to 5. I got JTR to R7 on Tuesday (FFS 😅) themes the breaks. I’ve whaled hard, and got everything but the Starkiller pack. It’s taken me from 4.2 to 5.1m GP, and I’ve lost my F2P badge in a spectacular way. Do I care….no. I’ve got a strong Resistance Squad, a 7* Ebon Hawk with R5 crew for my Executor Fleet. I’ve got 2 R5 FO squads and I’m now looking at potentially having an additional TWO GLs in my roster before the end of the year. What this has done is allow me to catch up on a huge number of players in my GAC brackets, bolster my squad so I can fill my defenses with useful toons, take literal YEARS off of 2 GL SLKR and Rey grinds. I’m still tempted to get the StarKiller pack too as that’s on my farming path. I’ve got zero regrets spending the money on a game I’ve played daily for the last few years. Whatever they put in the coffee at Capital Games, I thank you.

Took a 3 or 4 month break from the game (the proving grounds Inquisitor battle made me rage quit, but your Thrawn battle/guide solved that problem). Thank goodness I came back when I did, because this probably saved at least a year of grinding. As far as GLs go, I've only got JML, and I was going to go for SEE next anyway. Now I just need to hoard up zetas and omegas and get everyone good mods. Kylo's shuttle is almost at 6 stars, and the Silencer has about 50 more shards to go until 6-everything else is already 7. Not going to bother getting the Starkiller pack though since Dash is the only low-gear, under 7 star one of the bunch. Kyle's already at r5, Mara's at r3, and Talon's at gear 12 with only the last piece left.

I'm a day one player that is free to play. I have all the GL's except Rey (and Leia) This is the greatest thing CG has ever done. I spent $20 on 2 packs, and I went from basically a year grind to get Rey, which I never planned on getting, to a few relic upgrades (which I'll have in a week) of starting the Rey journey. I never though I'd say this, but THANK YOU CG!!!

I'm someone who gave up on farming for GLs a while ago, decided to just gear XII my character teams one by one...today ended that as I now work towards Rey.

This has me excited for what they may do in the future, maybe they move into doing lightspeed bundles for JML or LV? We'll have to see, but the pricing so far has been excellent.

im not even joking I ACTUALLY opened my account 3 or 4 times to make sure my FO were still R5 because i dont believe it. i never got around to SLKR because by the time i was ready for another GL kenobi had come out so ive only had rey and JMK and i just got JML a couple weeks ago because i was already at like 9/14 compared to the 2/14 on SLKR and now at a snap of a finger (and it didnt even cost me that finger) i only need to take the kylos to R7 and unlock finilzer this is ABSURD!! It would indeed be nice if it became permanent. I could actually recommend this game for some friends and get them a planning of what to grind until level 85 and then get these packs. Also, if they ever release these packs for SEE or JML, I'm likely to buy them. Currently on the farm for Leia, already have SLKR and Rey, so these would be fine additions.

I farmed SLKR for 9 months just to see this pack getting released! I enjoyed My Journey from scratch!

Would love a video on how to best utilize all these new toons as they come! For example, what First Order teams should I build for what modes and so on. It helps when determining what to upgrade until you get SLKR. Thanks!

Insane...! SLKR and Rey were last on my wishlist (having only JML and JMK). Was almost finished with Leviathan, but now i have to squeeze in SLKR and Rey. Leia has to wait now

There is a farming plan going around that for a new player buying the Hyperdrive bundle and the LIghtspeed bundles ends up with a roster containing Rey, SLKR, SEE, Starkiller and Executor after 14 months (assuming a fairly middling guild), with some top GAC teams included along the way. The reason Starkiller is more expensive is simple. $40 for the problem (Rey) and $50 for the solution (Starkiller)

I can definitely understand people who have done the grind for Rey or Kylo being upset. One thing to think about besides the points brought up in the video is that you have enjoyed the benefits of having those characters in your roster over a period of time from rewards such as extra crystal income from Grand Arena

First Order and Resistance were literally the only two factions I never farmed. Had all other GLs (except for Leia) and most characters but not these. So this was a no brainer for me :D except for Sith Trooper not one Char on G13 from these

Now let's have these packs for the ewoks to unlock c-3po, I like how i can now unlock han's falcon, starkiller, and 7-star chewie. My only gripe of the starkiller thing is for the price of the set, they don't give you Dash's or Kyle's ships to use. Otherwise these are pretty good packs

Been a wild ride for me in Galaxy of heroes this week, been ftp on this account and just unlocked my first GL (SLKR) literally just a few hours before this bundle was announced. After that major grind I’m kinda tempted to buy this.

I bitched earlier about this, but my attitude has changed. I bought all the packs except for the starkiller pack. I love it!

Finally, I decided for big resistance pack to get Rey GL. Goodness that CG has launched these great packs to get faster GLs, after 5 years playing this game, I had just 3 GL's...

I've been wanting to start Rey for a couple months, kept putting it off. Today, procrastination wins! It's a great day to be in the Empire

The best deal ever on the game! I didn’t have any FO or Res characters/teams remotely decent because I had no intention of getting any sequel stuff. So I bought 50 bucks worth of packs almost double my relics, and now I’ve basically got a full relic defence on GAC. Sorted! Cheers CG!

I went for JMK for my 1st GL then started SEE then changed it to Leia. Rey or SLKR were not even in my plans. Highest gear I had was a gear 12 on Kru. I’m happy ,I also don’t spend money on this game. So spending the $50 felt huge but I know how good of a deal they are.

I definitely feel for people unlocking Rey/Kylo in the last few days/weeks/months, but as with everything, if you spend all your time wondering if the near future will have some crazy thing that makes things easier, you'll never get anywhere. Where would your roster be if you said "Eh, surely I'll be able to buy SLKR soon" instead of farming him until now? I bought the Hounds Tooth pack after I realised I stopped farming it when the Finalizer event came around, it's roughly $38? AUD, which means I spent more money to unlock SLKR on one 85~ shard pack than I did to now unlock Profundity, not including the crystals spent and relic material packs bought throughout that time, it doesn't feel bad for me because I unlocked SLKR last year when he was still the king of raids, but I've now technically wasted money when I could have just not gone for him. Shoulda, woulda and coulda only makes your life miserable because you focus on what could have been had you known the future, hindsight in this case is 1000/1000, if you can't be thankful for these packs because they don't apply to you, be thankful that they are likely setting a precedent for future packs that may help you later.

I'm a long time player (since 2017 ish), that for some reason had neglected both First Order and Resistance. I had about 6.6 million GP and three GLs, close to GL Leia. These packs were absolutely massive for me - as the only Resistance characters I had at relic level were the 5 you used to cheese p1 of the sith triumvirate raid, and I had none FO at relic level. Buying these packs increased my GP by 900k...

My favorite moment so far was after failing the Darth Revan event (seeing if R5 Carth could carry) CG offered me 45 shards of each character and some gear pieces for $39.99.
