    That is crazy how mid 2017 cody was 11-0 and just beat the 135 goat and sterling was 14-2. Then at the end of the year cody was koes by tj and sterling was koed by marlon. 6 years later cody is 2-4 being koed 3 times and sterling is 9-0. You can never truly judge how great a fighter will be

    He faked concussion. Yan didn’t have a real camp. TJ had one arm. Cleary scored round 5 for Aljo. Aljo has the shittiest legacy of any champion in the UFC. It’s a shame.

    Aljo has won me over as a fan. He's the rightful champion and deserves the respect of a champion. I didn't like how he originally got the belt with the Oscar performance but in the second fight he proved himself and has ever since.

    @@baeualoevv Even if it was ruled a no contest and not a DQ win, it’s still counts for a win streak Look at Leon Edwards and Bella Muhammad’s NC which didn’t break their win streaks at all All it would change in an alternate universe where it was a NC and not a DQ would be subtracting 1 from Aljo’s streak and title defense. But it should be a DQ, being a champion doesn’t exclude you from rules

    To answer Aljo’s question: Usman fought in February 2021 against Burns and then turned around to rematch Masvidal in April in fights that got back to back Performance of the Night bonuses. That’s the kinda champ we lost folks 😭

    I was at the UFC Charlotte event this past weekend and Alja legit never stopped interacting with the fans. Taking pictures and shaking hands basically the entire time. That was really cool to me, the new people’s champ.

    Aljo has gnarly leg kicks which would stifle the movement of Sean, and great wrestling aka Sean's easiest path to being defeated. Unless sterling comes in mentally weak, I don't see him losing

    Sterling is becoming my favorite fighter 🙏 Before the 1st Yan fight I was A HUGE fan… I honestly didn’t think he would win the title after the 1st fight to be real. This man has come such a long way. He’s such a humble and nice guy as well. 🙏🔥 Oh yeah, and a KILLER with a nasty khabib like ground game and solid striking!!

    before it kinda felt like the UFC makes it look like the Champ has a say in who they're gonna fight but now it looks straight up disrespectful, like they brought Colby in and DC told Leon to call out Colby and when he said Colby doesn't deserve it Dana just went ahead and confirmed it, I mean he didn't even say anything like "we're gonna talk about it and figure it out" he just steamrolled Leon, and if this is in public just imagine how it is behind the scenes.

    Man I love Sean O’malley, but aljo has really been growing on me. Would be cool to see Aljo keep the belt, he’s so humble and backing up Francis decisions was really nice. Can’t wait for this fight

    I was so sure henry was going to pull it off.. reason? Because of his history.. double ufc champ.. ko dillashaw beat dj cruz etc. But look.. it was never any hate to aljo merely i was for the other guy but man sterling swayed my opinion, he didnt let words and criticism shy him away from the task at hand and went in there and took it. So respect to aljo to be able to edge a win over a talent like henry cejudo. Definitely a big win well earnt.
