Anthony on paper would flatline Poatan, then he’d send Jiri to 185 when Jiri gets beat everywhere by Smith and realizes theres levels to this 205 game. He’d also take Aspinalls belt in a tune-up at HW while Jon Jones finds every excuse in the book to avoid him.

The only chance he MIGHT have is in a grappling match, Alex beats Anthony literally everywhere else.

People like Buckley think it's Arial's job to look after the competitive element of the sport - it's not - he's an interviewer. His job is ask pertanent questions, let them answer. Chito got a title shot, Erceg got a title shot - so the precedant is set that people jump the line so from Smith's point of view why not him? He has a name and a beef with the champ. Why exactly would Arial not ask the question?

Smith is 1-3 last 4 and there’s no chance UFC is going to give him a title shot over Jiri, Ankalea, Jan, etc. By the time that would even be possible, Anthony will have lost 2-3 more fights. Nobody else is going to stick their neck into Anthony’s gilly☝️🤔

You really don’t want to have to kickbox or box with Alex. You will say you do to save face but you don’t want those problems. You also talked about Alex like you’d tap him with no sweat and that he’s some kind of subpar fighter. All these people talking about “Alex isn’t an MMA fighter he’s a kick-boxer” is something Izzy didn’t get. So what is it about Alex that he gets that?

Izzy has really good take down defense, plus he fought wrestlers. Alex gets taken down easy, but one positve is that he's very good defensively once he's down there. If Alex had good tdd and/or wins against a decent wrestler, these criticisms will go away.
