And the few American footballers that make it to the EPL get almost unanimously supported by the few "soccer" fans that there are in the US.

That's defending intelligently. Ref can realize there hasn't been a transition now in five years and stand them up because it's literally getting nowhere, or you can complain about the guy trying to defend himself on rather the guy who put the whole fight into that situation. If someone's a good grappler, people will do what they can to prevent giving them any openings. If someone nullifies the advances of a grappler who's on the offense to the point it becomes a pajama party, ref is supposed to do something about it. You expect Aljo to hump Kattar for 15 minutes but do not expect Kattar to try and protect himself?

My lil bro is like that, dudes 20 and has never trained grappling or striking but knows everything about mma. It honestly cracks me up, because there are some people genuinely in there who understand it. I’m trying to get my black belt and my lil bro knows more than me from watching 🤣🤣!! the mma fan base is rough, none of them have actually done it which is totally fine. just understand the difference between being a fan vs training it.

How they didn't give him an interview is WWWIIIIIILLLLLDDD and clearly shows there is some kind of agenda against him. Literally makes no sense. There is always time to give someone a question or two. Especially a champ like him that just put on a great performance moving up in weight against a killer. God will continue to bless you Aljo. Keep up the great work.

I also disagree with what Ariel said about the UFC putting him on the card - on paper it was a dangerous fight and they probably put him on there to lose and when it didn't work out they decided to not let him get on the mic. Mystery solved ;)

Dominant performance but dull fight. Thats on Kattar as well, he didnt let his hands go at all. Minimal damage. Take a solid win and move on. People want crazy fights all night because of the event and other fighters delivered on that. So you absolutely get overlooked because you should. Fair is fair.
