Jerry Cantrell is looking like a Viking king these days. There is something almost transcendent about him when playing guitar. Sean and Mike still one of the tightest rhythm sections in the business. William's vocals on point and mesh really well with Jerry's... really feeling the love for Alice these days!

I was there in person. It was my first experience going to a concert and I had a blast!

I saw them in 1993 at Hollywood Rock in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I saw Layne and Mike Starr. To this day they are my favorite band.

They’re Alice In Chains. They don’t smile. Listen to their lyrics. But they are overall all great dudes. They were super nice when we did the meet and greet before the show.

Thanks for uploading this! I actually got dehydrated and had to leave the crowd right there for a drink so didn't get to see the entire show up close

Yeah they were only accepting cash. I had to run across the street from the venue to get to an atm. Thankfully made it back in time.

That's because you want him to sound like Layne. Just appreciate him for what he is, a great singer. The real problem is that Jerry doesn't use him enough in the new songs. Clearly Layne is irreplaceable but the reason why people can't get into Duvall is because Jerry doesn't let him shine in the _new_ songs. The songs where William actually sings the lead vocals, like Last of My Kind, are very rare, but he sounds phenomenal when he isn't relegates to Jerry's harmonizer

@@RafaelCDet nah. Honestly I’ve just tried to like Duvall. I can’t get into him. I feel like he’s trying to sound like Layne. That’s more of my issue with him. He’s trying and of course he doesn’t. I like that Jerry and the other guys are continuing on and they really do have the right to. Honestly. I just don’t dig William Duvall’s sound and I’m a fan for a long time. I have been hoping for almost 20 years that my mind would change but it doesn’t seem likely. But hey, to each their own.

If Seven Dust had to replace their lead singer, it would be something to deal with. A lot of people don’t like replacement singers.

My first time seeing and hearing them with their new singer (I would only listen if it was Layne). I know, I know…. This man did a good job and I think he is also talented. It’s hard to replicate Man in the Box. Layne had perfect voice for that!! It still broke my heart though to not see Layne out there. 💔

Their "new" singer has been in the band almost 20 years... you haven't listened to them for 2 decades? I love Layne but he died in 2002 and there's so much more to AIC than "Man in the Box".

But I understand many people can't deal with change. I used to be that way. The young guys at work said iI was washed up. Kinda funny . That's why I responded . Be Well
