Kriegs retiring on her own terms as an NWSL champion is the storybook ending that she deserved. Truly a legend, on and off the field, one of the best to ever do it. She left the game so much better than how she found it and I'm so happy that she got the farewell she so richly deserved ❤❤❤

Both Lynn and Sam being mortified by their moms stories about their "baby defects" was hilarious 😆 but they had such a sweet wrap up that was amazing.

Ali Krieger seems like such a genuinely kind person. Going to miss her on the field next year but thankful to all she's given to this sport over the years. Great interview. 👍

Ali Krieger is legendary at acknowledging her fans. We’ve been to two Gotham games at KC, and both times she has seen us up in the stands and pointed or waved. I also got to tell Lynn at the last game that we met Marlee and how lovely it was to talk with him, and I got to tell Sammy that my spouse was from Whitman! All three of you are great at fan appreciation! I was laughing so hard at the end with your mom’s, I had to pause it twice! What Jill did to Krieger was terrible. She deprived us from watching the best of the best for two years!

Ali Krieger is one of my all-time favorite people that have ever played this game. Forever an Icon and I wish people recognized her utter talent and overall greatness. I got her Gotham jersey this year and I got her Orlando jersey years ago. I don't want her to retire and lose the opportunity to rock her number.

Literally love snacks! You guys are beautiful and your bodies do amazing things every day, even just staying alive! Sam's offhanded comment about her leg being jiggly made me a little sad, and the ensuing convo about saggy butts haha! Obviously it's great to hear everyone's real & honest feelings, but society applies a lot of pressure & dictates what the current standards of beauty are, which are hard (or impossible) to live up to. I would love to hear your thoughts about body image in the nwsl/national team environments. I know a lot of women, athletes, and public figures have extra pressures and often struggle with body image and EDs - and you are all three! So it would be great to hear your experiences, what kinds of conversations are going on, and what kind of resources you all have available, or wish you had! Keep up the amazing work

The Difference of Leagues in Europe funneling Players into the "Improving" Leagues in Europe was overlooked in the 2023 WW Cup by US Media by taking "Full " Credit for the Number of International Players competing in the Tournament, participating @ US Colleges: Though that point, along w / Americans playing 4 years against one another is viable, along w/ the existence of the 1st Division, which can sustain the Player Pool for the USW National Team if those individuals are called in: The Problem is, despite D-1 & 12 NWSL Teams, there's A: No Americans playing in Europe, where there's Multiple Leagues, boosted by the emergence of the UK, FA Funding, and a Champions League; LINSDAY HORAN is the only US player competing Internationally...And, there's No Interest in US Clubs trying to B: Propose a Plan to Play in the Champions League w/ @ Least 2 Teams, and C: Create a "Super Cup" vs Champions Legue Teams and / or D: Out of League Inter- League Club Games w/ Teams from Europe's WSL and / or other Leagues E: The Perception is US College, the NWSL & D-1 are far Superior Leagues, and as a Result, the USW National Team coaches don't have consistent Scouting Data of US Player Performance on an International Scale, though it could be debated there are Friendlies, the She Believes, and Youth WW Cups... But is it Enough? F: It would appear the Answer is No; A Case can be made there's Too Much Talent in the US: Whether that's Partially or 100% True, there needs 2 be, G: More "MOVING PARTS" w/ US and Canadian Players competing on Both Sides of the Atlantic to Further & Better Evaluate / Scout the Talent for Each National Team, coupled w /being a useful Tool for Recruitment, via Loans, Trades, & Transfers on the Club Level. CONCLUSION: The US College to Pro Format isn't not clear & absolute #1 path to success as it once was, vs the rising" Developmental Team" concept, or Feeder Team that Ms. Williams touched on, for the Women's Game in Europe, identical to the Men, that streams Players into Professional Positions in a Fluid Fashion; The only downside would be Injuries / "burnout" @ a Younger Age The UPSIDE w/ the US College System allows for Personal Development on a Campus, Away from Home and opportunity to gain a Degree as a Backup to Athletic setbacks, and/or the Downside of: The Lower Average Pay Scale in Women's Pro Sports that increases the "Dropout Rate"...The incentive to Play for Wages Lower than some Entry Level Jobs w/ a College Degree Deters many from Competing Domestically, never mind going to Europe, therefore depleting some of the US Talent Pool; But the Pay will continue to Improve. Meantime... A: More US / Canadian Players in Europe, More NWSL / D-1 Teams playing European Clubs and / or: B: PROPOSA by the NWSL to: Enter the Champions League (2 Teams) or: C: NWSL & D-1 Champions League Entry: (2 to 4 Teams): Reg Season Champ & Cup Winners If Team Wins the Double, the Runner - Up Qualifies, or: D: Creation of a: "SUPER CUP": NWSL Cup / Reg Season Champion vs Champions League and / or other Cup Winners with or w/ o the D-1 Champions, w/ the Identical "Double Winner" Format

Girls the only thing you need to do is to change your DIET to a much healthy diet. So, talk to your chefs. (I’m a former assist. coach and former referee.) I sent messages to Mallory Swanson, I talked to her father in 2019. I sent letter to Rose Lavelle, I texted Carli Lloyd he answered once, but not answering my questions before her retirement. My teams won more than 90% of our games. For example, we told the moms to feed their players only healthy food. NO Milk, NO Cheese, NO meat ( because it leaves in your blood buric acid) and NOT eggs. So, less oxygen and energy in your red blood cells. So, ladies, fruits and vegetables. Ladies that DO that, can play easier to almost 40 years old. Before the Olympics I told my friends soccer lovers U.S. will not win the Olympics. Because players were getting tired sooner, and because their blood get thicker. If you forget about the American breakfast (which is TERRIBLE compared to other nations) Just fruits, (watermelon, black or pink grapes, cantaloupe, pineapple, peaches, oranges, apples, make your own juices in your own machine. If you want to be Champions for the fifth time (like Brazil) ask an Honest Pathologist, he will tell you what NOT to eat. I did it.
