Hey there Chris. I just spent almost 3 months in Portimão at praia da Rocha. I went all over Algarve including crossing to Ayamonte in Spain by ferry. But the most important thing that happened to me was that almost at the end of my stay, coming from the beach to my apartment, I met your parents totally by coincidence. We talked for a couple minutes and they were very friendly. I was very impressed with your Dad speaking portuguese perfectly. I wish you and Carol the best in your travels. Yeah this place has the full package! All types of beaches and islands, different types of cliffs and rock formations, great food, historic sites and beautiful villages and cities :D

I just watched your video as we are traveling to Portugal and the Algarve this September. I found it to be SO helpful! You speak so clearly, concisely and love how you broke the Algarve into sections from central-west, then central-east. I also loved that you showed different restaurant prices and accomodations. Wast the aereal footage generic drone footage? I have 2 pages of notes, thank you so much! (I watched a few videos btw...or tried to and they lost me-yours was by far the best!)

We stayed in Carvoeiro nice place nice beaches around but we travel along the coast. I think the west coast is the one we enjoyed the most

Hi guys! Your videogrphy and eduting skills are remarkable! My family want to visit Praia Rocha in April. Are jellyfish found in that beach during that time of the year?

I stayed in Lagos and Tavira in January. Going to Portimao in November and back to Lagos, then Olhao in January finishing with a few nights in Faro. I wouldn’t like it in Summer when it’s too hot and crowded! Not sure if I prefer the curly hair or the short? 😊

Hey @jumpingplaces great video! I’ve watched for 3 years now🎉 BTW Vila Real De Santo Antonio (VRSA) has “beautiful beaches, it’s on the river and the ocean. Through unique pine forest for biking, trekking takes you right there! VRSA Beach before Monte Gordo. It also is home to huge nature reserves and flamingo birds. It has one of the largest sport arenas with athletes coming from around the world weekly to train for team sports and the olympics. It’s home to the first cannery in the world. (sardines at that) it’s far more than meets the eye with much of its beauty being discovered. VRSA is also the main county of 3 cities, Monte Gordo and Cacela Velha with a shared chamber of commerce with Spain and the city of Ayamonte being only an hour and 30 minutes from Seville. It is filled with awesome beaches l, golf, tennis and has incredible history… Just wanted you to know. You guys are awesome!!!!

Hi Chris and Carol, thanks for the video! I'm planning on going to Portugal next May and was wondering about filming with a drone. I had read that in Portugal you need to submit a request and get permission before flying a drone if your drone has a camera. Wondered if this was accurate and how difficult the process was to be able to film with a drone in Portugal. Thanks for any info you can provide. And thanks again for all your videos!

Spent the winter of 2017/18 in Algarve, mostly Albufeira, but with safari, boat and bus I went to Portimao, Lagos, Sagres, Tavira and Faro and more. Sorry to say, most of my memory cards photis malfunctioned.. Still visual memories persist in my mind. Storks of Faro included
