Wow that’s amazing! We never did training with our Lhasa and now at 13 years old she still decides whether or not she’s going to even come over when I call for her 😂

I have a lhasa and she trained me very well🙂

I love mine and he’s just obedient enough. But his independence is the real trait that I love the most. I love my Lhasa Apso He’s a great little watch dog...I have a Kangal also. He’s a beast!

I have a 10 year old Lhasa named Josie. I can still teach her stuff! Right now she is learning high 5. She doesn’t bark and loves all dogs, cats, kids and people. Is she perfect? Yes!

i have lhasa apso too,his name is hippie.his 1yr. old great thing about him is he is so smart.we trained him sit,lay down & up.now we started teaching him shake hands.i just love him so much.

He is so Adorable and Sweet Baby.

I have a Lhasa Apso maltese mix. He loves other dogs, loves to be praised. You can not yell at a Lhasa Apso, just be firm and praise. Yelling at them can make them aggressive, but you need to show them who the leader is. They are very loyal to their master. This dog is overweight and looks like he is mixed with shitzu. Lhaso are independent and stubborn, but they are loving, especially as they get older.

In which age training is suitable for small breeds

Takes some work to train, but what great dogs after. So smart but a little( lot ) independent.

I’ve had two, I can vouch for that lol. My first one was more obstinate than my current but he’s an old guy now (15) and I don’t push him, he’s lost his vision too. Such beautiful dogs.

This was just beautiful. Could only get my Lhasa to sit and lie but you manage so much well done. My little fur guy died 8 weeks ago 13.5 yrs and these videos bring me so much joy and it reminds me of him. You clearly have a good bond with your dog cherish every minute. Thanks

Oh geez! :( I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope you're doing okay now

When we decided we wanted a dog I (being a man) wanted something big and manly, such as a German Shepheard or Great Dane. The wife of course knew better and we got a Lhasa, I wouldn't change him for the world! he may be stubborn as you know what but he can be so loving and he really is a great guard dog.

Hi please help .. I’m from Mumbai .. I brought home a 5 year old female Lhasa apso because her owners did not want her. She is not trained at all. She tends to bite if I try to tame her. How do I train her ..

my "Mexer" is very independant but so inteligent its like he is rubbing it in my face lol hes the same with a ball or toy that he wants me to be interested in so he can guard it but really he just wants me to tackle it from him and throw it lol i never had a dog so full of personality he is 5 years old now and he has cherry eye where one eye is blue

Alfie is a cute well-behaved boy, how old is he? Looks just like my Baxter but mine is much older now. The black tipping in his coat has turned blond/white on my boy. 😘

What do you mean? Just ask for a puppy cut it’s done with dog clippers pretty easily. I’ve done my boy’s for many years but I also clip my own hair lol. Also common to take them for “grooming” once a month if you rather someone else do. I usually let mine’s hair grow out a little longer on the ears but sometimes I do shorter like this. They have a LOT of hair (they’re called double-coated) but it’s not bad if you give them a brush over in this type cut every couple days or daily

Our Ziggy can do all the basic sit,down,paws,roll over etc etc but when there's food to be had? nah....

This dog breed is very hard to almost impossible to train after puppy stage (42 weeks) , they are very independent, and very aggressive towards other dogs if not socialised in that time frame as well, I have 2 same age, and the older they get the more they look at you as if to say get stuffed and where is my food.

My lasha apso can do hi5 ,roll, jump, hops like a Kangaroo 🦘 but can't learn Stay above all 😅 despite several attempts. Too moody to learn
