Just lost my 12 year old male he was the slight carmel with white color. He was lost to an enlarged heart problem which led to pulmonary edema (fluid on the lungs). Still grieving. Such a smart dog, stubborn yes, but once they get use to your voice commands they are great. I have had a few dogs over my lifetime, but he was the best to give love and accept ❤ love.
I have a Lhasa Shih Tzu mix. Got him at the rescue. He is a great pet. Totally different from the shih tzu.
I adopted a lhasa/terrier mix ~6 years ago and she certainly is a mischievous clown. Very playful, a severe watchdog, sometimes lazy, food motivated, stranger wary. Sadly she was a stray, found on the highway so her traumatic past makes her mistrust strangers. Ive lived with her on both coasts and she travels happily by air or drive!

I had Lhasa Apso X Miniture Fox Terrier and had the dog for over 16 years. He was crazy in a nice way. Just a couple of things about the the breed. 1. They are indoor guard dogs Not watch dogs. A watch dog will give you a warning about danger. However, a Lhasa will attack if they think it is necessary. Scooter would give one long bark and then attack. 2. The breed is working dog NOT a lap dog and should be treated as such. By all means you should be affectionate towards the dog but it's not a lap dog! 3. Being a guard dog the breed IS wary of strangers and will protect other members of "the pack". 4. The breed isn't vicious to outsiders but is protective of the pack. That means if you're at home alone with your Lhahsa you're definitely NOT alone 5. I've used this on Jack Russell and and it worked a treat. I'd recommend a sound/buzzer collar which would aid in training a dog. Don't use the one with a static shock as it just plain cruel. There is one limitation and that is where a dog works out how to remove the collar. Hmmm! 6. Don't ever let the dog on your chest as the Lhasa is attempting to become pack leader and you need to show more dominant behaviour towards the dog. Anyway I hope that helps.

hi, I am guessing u have a Lhasa so I was wondering if they have separation anxiety or not as I saw on many sources that say they are an independent dog breed but this video said the opposite?

I had a female and she acted like a daughter. She slept in my arms and she cuddled me like I was her dad. They show so much love and very well behaved dogs.
