….when I purchased my brand new BMW 540i xDrive (G30 chassis) a couple of years ago…I immediately changed the front/rear M Sport brake pads to EBC Redstuff. I thought the upgrade of these pads took the M Sport brake performance to the next level…w/ less brake dust,of course!!!!

I changed after 15000 km like 7 thousands miles, in my stelvio the new that cames with car, with the ate ceramic plates, they are fromconti entalbrand, they are in ceramic but not extreem, thye brake better than original for sure, and also don't make any dust at all thats the first why i change them, my black weels stay clean 😍 they also last more than the original and consumink the discs less than the original one

I have a 2019 Jaguar XE S AWD(Supercharged V6) that had a software tune. It is currently sitting at ~410HP(most likely at the crank). I plan on getting the supercharger pulley upgrade too, which would bump it up a little but its mainly for low end torque. The car needs some new brakes after 34k miles. I can't decide if I need the yellowstuff or if the redstuff would be more than sufficient.I plan on changing all four rotors and pads.

Interested as to why you had codes afterwards. I changed my Guilia discs/pads front and rear no issues. I left the battery connected but the fob was left well away from the car as I read having it close by can cause warning lights. I also pumped the pedal to take up the pad to piston gap before the initial function on the dash to reset the rears.

  • @autofanaticcars

Hi Daniel I did not do the bleed in this video because I did a detailed brake bleeding and flush video on my Alfa Romeo Giulia QV which is the exact same procedure, That video is on this channel if you search youll find it from the last summer. The codes were because the pads were so badly worn and pushing the pistons back in set the system off crazy. I scanned it with my Multi Scan Laptop and cleared codes in minutes which was a relief. You really need Multi Scan to work on the Alfa if you plan to do any DIY service yourself/
