The Eurovision prince! He's one of the most iconic winners, and he's somehow always involved in Eurovision (making covers, performing, doing cameos, presenting points, etc.). The fandom loves him ❤️

He represented Norway, but he's originally from Belarus. He is a classically trained violinist. He has recorded in English, Russian, Belarusian, Norwegian, Swedish, etc. A HUGE talent!

Sure, he was born in Belarus, but came to Norway four years old, so I guess he consider himself Norwegian, as well. He has lived in Norway for 32 years.

He is actually the winner of eurovision 2009. If you started with him you should react to all the winners from 2010-2019 (2020 was cancelled because of Covid and you already watched Italy 2021) maybe you could do a winner once a week and in the other days continue with 2021 :D If you want I can write the list of the winners here so it will be easy for you to find them

I remember watching this at the time and saying to myself, "This has won by miles". And it did :-)

The dancers are doing traditional Norwegian folk dance. It was used to impress girls by showing off strenght and bounce.

Alexanda was a favorite to win the contest quite early on.Under the old voting system he broke the record for the most number of top marks (12pts) and held the record for the highest toatl score at 386 in think. The song that came second was exceptional too and would have one in any other year and woud have been Icelands first win. Its alsi worth checking out and is called 'Is it You' by Yulana. The other one that will blow your mind is Russia from 2016

I had just turned 10 when this won and it’s the first time I actually remember sitting up through the entire voting process though it went on past midnight. He participated it again in 2018, and he’s barely aged at all. The flash mob interval act from 2010 when we hosted were amazing as well with Madcon singing and people dancing along all across Europe. However I was more proud to be represented by TIX this year than when Alexander Rybak won because of the importance of Fallen Angel, but love both of them. Love from Norway 🇳🇴 PS you’ll often see Alexander commenting on TIX’s Instagram, and a lot of vlog type videos from TIX have him singing along to Fairytale. 😻

The dancing is called Halling dans ( halling dance ) in norway back in history young men wanted to show off their healthy bodies to potential wives by dancing alone doing " stunts " while dancing on beat, there's also a regular dance as well. kicking off the hat off a stick would be done by women standing on a chair or something and lifting it up high enough to impress them and the guy would dance around and do a spin kick or something.
