What a sweetie...i met him in 87..got to kiss him on his big mouth...I'll never forget it. It was at the Savoy of New York in Pittsburgh Pa.😘

I am the biggest Alexander O'Neal fan I'm 39 I rode with my stepdad back in the 80s listening to criticize that song caught me so when I got older I research alot more of his music. Sentimental , the lovers, if you were here tonight, so much more man he don't get the credit he deserves. I just hope his legacy lives on.

Crazy underated, He could hold his own with Marvin, Teddy, Freddie, Luthor, James Ingram, Jeffrey Osborne, Pebo, Donny Hathaway. That's some serious guns. But he had a sound that was all his own. IAM happy to see the great Alexander O Neil return to world.

I love this interview!! Alexander was so good looking!! I can't understand how the interviewer was sitting there all calm! I guess she was being a professional, but I could not have been sitting next to this good looking chocolate of a man without being a bit flirty at some point.. I may have even told him how handsome he was! I enjoyed hearing about his background story. It's a shame that things went very downhill for him after this time. He actually got caught up in what he was saying to the young people. I see he enjoys the company of the lighter woman, but just maybe if he had stayed closer to home......

This is twenty Years agohe sure has gone way off the scope since then.But still love his music, his best years were back in the 80s I met him a few times back in London at the holiday inn Mayfair London when he used to stay there but I never found him to be a nice man a bit full of himself at that time.

A Well-Spoken Man he is. Alex was "Woke" well before it became a term a few years ago! I bought We Can Be Lovers and I thought it was a sleeper of an Album that probably would have sold more if the traditional R&B and Hip-Hop Sound didn't merge together.
