This song hit me straight in my heart. I was 17 when my grandfather passed away from such a tragic accident. He fell off a roof onto a pile of rocks. He was pronounced brain dead and we had prayed for a miracle like in the movies that he would wake up.....2 days later we took him off life support and as he passed it sounded like he was snoring....something we always complained of but now, it was the best noise in the world. I miss him every day. He was my best friend as such a huge dad role model to me. Its so painful to not have him with me....I just want to have him hold me one last time or hear him say he loves me....or use my nickname one last time.....Its been 2 almost 3 years of hell without him....

I lost my step dad from my childhood a few years ago and this song has made me come to tears, I love this song so much

This song hits so close to home, there is nothing I wouldn’t do to say I love you again to my Aunt. She had this tattoo of a butterfly on her arm. She said it was he spirit animal. I often see a monarch flying around my house and I know it’s her.

I met my dad for the first and last time in 2018. We never had our first I love you. I avoided watching this until now because I thought it would hurt too much, but thank you… I’m not sure why but it was exactly what I needed to hear.

I like how his songs have more of a special meaning to it than other songs or TickTock or’s make it’s not about his ex or anything it’s about his dad he would be so proud to see what he has done today
