I've seen Alex live 2 times over the last few years. Once with Testament and once with Randy Rhoads Remembered. He's a fantastic guitar player. What I like most about his playing is his sweep picking. He is tasteful with it and never lets it overwhelm the song like some other players that I won't mention !!!

Great interview! Love this man. He's such an underappreciated talent.

So glad to see alex back in the scene was absolutely my favorite guitarist and inspired me to play. He has a melodic approach to soloing that is his own.

Saw him both with Testament and his Jazz Trio. Had the chance to talk to him a wee bit. Not only a fantastic, versatile guitar player but a really down to earth chap!

One of the most underrated guitar players on the planet ! He is simply a monster shredder & tasteful guitarist !

He is amazing! ❤ So intelligent and extremely talented!

I remember Alex play a Gibson goldtop les paul when he reunited with Testament its featured in the London DVD concert

I've only just discovered this guy. I wish he was a pal of mine. Clever cultured guy above the norm. A great player and altruistic to boot. If that's not enough, his guitar is the best looking guitar I've ever seen. I want one so bad. No idea if they sell them in the UK, but going looking right after this interview.

I wish that someone would have ask him about Criss Oliva.. I've always wanted to know what he has to say about him.
