"The announcer had in fact seen all eight of Alex's championship victories." - Morgan Freeman Voice-over
He can't wait for the next US Nationals so he can use "9 time Nationals Champion, Alex Puccio" 74 times.
I wonder if he ever gets tired of watching 8 time national champion Alex Puccio

I think he was just badly prepared and had not much else to say. Good commenting is a lot of work. Talking to the athletes and coaches and routesetters, acquiring advanced knowledge of climbing, past competitions and current hot topics in the community. It seems so effortless when someone is doing it well. Maybe when seeing a broadcast like this we can acknowledge great commenting a little more. That said, saying that Alex is climbing "with authority" is a straight up insult to her many amazing strengths. It is not her medal collection that climbs up the wall, it is her!
Puccio doesn’t get enough credit for her bouldering acumen and performance. She was pushing the limits on the world stage long before Janja G came into town. I’d love to see her compete against Janja. Perhaps the best 2 bouldering chics on the planet ! Keep it up Puccio ! You make us proud 🎉

🗽 Congrats to Alex... she is so strong. 💪 .
DOPE!
It's the 8times
Makes me want to see some open bouldering competitions that dont seperate between gender, maybe as an additional option for those women that want to. Honestly, from what I have seen, the top 5 women dont look worse than the top 5 men. Yes, maybe men are physically stronger on average (even when sampling among the top), but there are also differences in strength among the top male climbers. Its not always the physically strongest man that wins the competition so I think that supports the argument.
One little thing: maybe turn down the music a little bit. It doesn't really match the progression of the video anyways, so it is kind of in the way and kills the mood when it is the thing you are forced to think about.
Turn down the music
man likes alex puccio a little to much
Do they not know how to spell ‘Qualification’?
Sorry to be blunt but is the US national setting always this boring? There's no creativity, all the problems are so straightforward 😕

This was a while ago. Setting has changed, bouldering has changed. But Puccio is pure class. Beautiful to watch.
