Honestly was in tears by the end of this video. People like Brooke and Ashima are ones I've looked up to since I started climbing years ago. Their dynamic is so awesome and they really have such a great time together. Even seeing cameos of other amazing climbers here like Lynn Hill was incredible. Thank you so much for this documentary, I really enjoyed it!

Back when I was a climber in the late 80's to 2000's - Robyn and Didier, along with J.B Tribout, Pat Edlinger, Cath Destivel, Geoff Wiegand, HB, Kim Carrigan, Louise Shepherd, were stars. Then Sharma came to light in say 95/96.....those days before internet, when we had to rely on word of mouth, and the "magazines" coming out were the glory days. Man, I miss those days. I lived at Arapilies for 6 months in 1989 - was the best 6 months of my life - met so many great climbers, and my climbing improved so much. Getting milkshakes in Natimuk were the best, and living live a vagabond in the Pines was the best!.

Brooke is amazing, but also still has deep restraint. I think because of the overshadow of her famous parents (even the first minutes of this video are more about her mom). A day will come for Brooke to fully come on her own and blossom with full confidence the way her good friend Natalia Grossman does. Best of luck to Brooke, I love her intelligent movement on the wall. Always a pleasure just watching her graceful deliberate moves. She's not a risk taker as much as hardworking disciplined professional.

Interesting. Im a great admirer of Brooke. Im nervous how she will deal with life after climbing - the intensity is probably necessary but worrying. I hope her academic work paid off too. her mom is a bit scary!!

That seems to be an old documentary, about the Tokyo Olympics. They just posted it again because she just won the last ISFC event so that would make views.

Why’s that? Like forcing their child to do sports or what? Def knew some dads that did that to their kids in highschool for football ..

they want the best for their kids. the kids may have pressure to live up to their parents expectations but both of the kids have a desire to be the best and their parents pushing them will only help them become the best climber they can be.

Didn't know Brooke was sister of Sean Raboutou! And that their parents are both professional climbers. It just shows that talen't doesn't really matter. If you put enough time into it, you can do ANYTHING!! Inspiring!
