Alex is so talented. I saw him at the 100 club last weekend and I honestly laughed start to finish. He’s so underrated. I love him. 😂👏🏽

Was lucky enough to meet Alex once, and I asked him about Clinton Baptiste. Thought he was a fellow northerner but he is not! He pulls it off so well.

I've just realised that Alex played Lee Grithiffths the owner of a computer games shop on "Look Around You", the Peter Serafinowicz series (which itself is underrated genius). Barry from Watford is great too. I had absolutely no idea he was Clinton Baptiste! Talk about someone flying under the radar! A huge talent.

I love Alex Lowe. Barry from Watford is brilliant but my favourite role of his is as Brian (and other characters) in Clare in the Community radio series. He is such as underrated actor.

Saw Clinton this week, absolutely brilliant ... very very funny northern comedy

I couldn’t help but let out a big old belly laugh when you said “Blessed by the Goddess of beauty”, as it instantly called to mind dear old Gordon Budge from Slither In! 23 years later, Human Remains is still an exceptional, exemplary piece of work. If anything, compared to a lot of today’s offerings, Human Remains feels more exquisite than ever by comparison.

I just don’t understand why he hasn’t gone stratospheric,the character of Clinton Baptiste should be up there with likes of Del Boy,Alan partridge,father Ted etc. It’s fucking mind boggling. the ‘mrs browns boys-Keith lemon brigade’ have the majority it seems😠

I have met Alex a few times and spoken to him, and I can attest that he is a nice man.

Alex is great. Seems like a lovely guy too.

The first two are brilliant. The third is ok but doesn't totally work. The fourth has it's moment but is poor overall.

Clearly alot of respect and affection between these guys 😌

I met Alex when he did a show with Angelos locally. He was ridiculously down to earth & very very friendly. He even made me go to his car with him where he nicked a cigarette off me & we had a chat outside the venue as we unloaded his car. 100% gent.

Just seen Alex as Clinton live in London. Hilarious

I saw Clinton Baptiste at the Albert Halls Bolton April 2024 and he was brilliant. So funny and everyone loved it.

Lowe has two equally brilliant and completely different comedy characters. Hardly anyone can claim the same. Neither sound alike or sound anything like him. I listen to the Barry and Angelos and Clinton Baptiste podcasts all the time and have done for years and still sometimes forget it's the same person.

Saw him in Belfast. Absolutely fantastic. Lewis McLeod was incredible too. Im getting the word. 😂😂😂😂

He's probably more well known for playing Clinton Baptiste in Phoenix Nights. If still unsure, search for his scene on KZread

His Peter Kay impression is terrible.

Oh god he's awful - really shallow and arrogant. He used to be on Flipside with Michael Holden. Hopefully he has grown up a bit since then.

Saw Alex as Clinton a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't brilliant TBH. A few highlights but pretty lame overall. The classic stuff is good but he needs some new ideas. Also looked as if he was pregnant if I'm honest.
