England Lioness and Manchester City defender Alex Greenwood became a household name after helping the Lionesses to victory in the 2022 European Championship at Wembley.
Greenwood's career has seen her play for Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Notts County and Olympique Lyonnais and finally finding a home at Manchester City.
Only the FA Women's Super League has alluded her so far domestically having won and FA Cup and League Cup. While she won a UEFA Champions League with Lyon in 2020.
Now Alex is looking forward to the 2023 World Cup with England in Australia and New Zealand hoping to add to her medal haul.
Greenwood was speaking to Olympic Taekwondo medallist Bianca Cook and former BBC Sports reporter Paul Garrity at the Nuffield Health Manchester Institute of Health & Performance.

Greenwood is a quiet giant as an England team player. I think she will be a key player in the World Cup and for the national team in the years to come. This was an interesting conversation between these three.

She did so well. A lot of people want her to be Player of the Tournament for being so consistent and strong.
Greenwood is class! pure class as a player and as a person. i dont understand her accent that much but shes so well spoken and transparent.

Wow, this was amazing! Alex has always been such an inspiration to me, I just relate to her in so many ways, with being a fellow fullback and even being a Sheffield united fan. I think she often doesn’t get the recognition she deserves. This was an insightful watch especially for someone is a fellow aspiring baller.
