Katy Perry’s face after he finished was in total disbelief, it’s like she’s telling herself _”I can’t believe this guy’s talent, I’m kind of envious.”_

Even today, 2023, he is better than ever, everyone should see him live , on tour again in April, forever fan!

You should all realise that you aren’t going to cover Blesser unless you can play high speed syncopation and Chopin-like arpeggios with your eyes closed or not looking at the keyboard WHILE you sing in a falsetto whisper type tone ( which is musically challenging because it’s so hard to stay melodic with the vocal chords so open!) That’s what Alejandro was doing as a musical package on Blesser. AND it was an original song. 🎤 Mic Drop! Game over.

Suzanne Santos learn ocean etude by Chopin and it will make blesser feel like child’s play. Yes singing and doing that is a whole different challenge

I know Chopin’s Etude 25,12. His raw video on KZread of Blesser is better. I played flute to orchestra standard and had classical voice training for 6 years and music theory for 5 years. I understand what you’re saying, but I stand by what I said.

and I second that with no musical history what so ever. I have a raw talent for picking out music by sound and instrument and to play that kind of piano and guitar is simply professional while singing his style. The kid is amazing

Alejandro Aranda is what American Popular Music needs to advance today. He is making America Great ANEW . He crosses genre;s effortlessly. Franz Liszt, Chopin, Michael Franks and more all in one ... Genius ... Pure Genius. Agree with Suzanne Santos. Anyone who wants to cover this number - better get your piano skills up to pro level...

He is in a different stratosphere than all the others. He is a finished product....guaranteed mega star. I hope he wins....but regardless he will go as far as he cares to in the world of music. By leaps and bounds the most talented to ever be on that show.

Fun fact: This is a tone down version of the song. Listen to the original song and it’s BEYOND insane. He probably toned it down just to have less risk involved for the live show and probably wanted to keep in in tune with the performance he was trying to display

Yes!! I Loved that bit with Twin Shadow too, you can tell how genuin their relationship/ friendship is... We must thank George for motivate him to release his music... We're so lucky. Also for teaching him how to use the synth. I specially love those Alejandro's creations on the synth. And this performance made my heart jump of happines. The piano... And that little bit of acapella was heart warming ♡♡♡♡♡♡. I can't wait to listen the full song in Studio quality versión. I can't wait for his record to be released. ♡♡♡♡♡♡

I just want people to realize how difficult it is to play like this and sing at the same time. So many things can go wrong and yet he manages to do it. His talent is otherworldly, the fact that he keeps himself grounded says even better things about his persona.

This kid’s a musical genius... period. He hears music/melody/phrasing so differently than anyone else. And he’s winning American idol (the ultimate karaoke contest) with ORIGINAL music! Would have loved to have heard the full band kick in on this one.. but regardless.. just astonishing

I was just saying that musical genius thing myself. As far as I'm concerned playing original music is not a karaoke contest and that's probably why he didn't win. Simply because he is a genius. It's a shame for all his fans that would have loved to see him win because of his raw talent in musical instrumentation and composing. His dynamic touch to his singing is very captivating and pulls you into the song every time. I'm an old rocker not even from this genre of music but from his debut as Lionel said authenticity, knowing the person from his very first few notes or breaths and as Ben said singularity, picking him out of a crowd you can't see through pulled, me into his style of music instantly. Voters have no idea what work is put into playing his guitar and piano style which is genial in itself let alone the originality of his lyrics. Simply amazing.

He now goes by the name of Scarypoolparty. Look up his channel. He has put out two albums , one EP and several singles since the show. Do not expect all the music to be of this genre though. Unlike other artists who announce they're switching genres, switching to another genre is no biggie for this music genius. His music is industrial, ballad, pop electronic jazz. You name it he's composing in it. We just got word he just finished one of his new projects at Capitol Studios where all the great performers have recorded. His director and composer for an orchestra he put together for this project is none other than Rob Mathes. Once you finish listening to his channel, there are tons of recordings from concerts and from pieces he plays and kind of just forgets about. These pieces are absolutely beautiful. He has an acoustic concert tour in June go to his page for information and tickets. These concerts are worth a plane and a hotel room if you are not near by a venue. They are that incredible.

Wow. Next: Great stages of the world, No? First, at least one amazing record please.

So blessed to witness such an artist as Alejandro Aranda the birthing of such musical talent is awesome for our hearts and souls to hear.
