Turn Any Traditional Tie End Classical Guitar Strings into Ball End Classical Guitar Strings With Alba Classical Guitar Beads
Get Your Alba Guitar Beads Next Day Delivery Direct From Amazon Here: amzn.to/42w2VWf
If you're like me you love the sound and feel of brand new strings on your classical guitar but absolutely hate changing them.
Tying those fiddly classical knots can be an absolute pain in the butt! and very time consuming!!
There are a couple of string manufactures that make ball end classical guitar strings but unfortunately they are few and far between and only offer a limited range.
If like me you like the sound of carbon strings on your guitar or prefer a certain brand then you have no chance of finding them in a ball end version and very few guitar shops actually stock them.
Alba Classical Guitar Beads To The Rescue!
With Alba Classical Guitar Beads you can turn any traditional tie end classical guitar strings into ball end classical guitar strings in a matter of minutes! (Watch the full video to see how it's done and hear some useful tips at the end)

    The beads are the best things that has ever been invented for classical guitars. After hundreds of years of history finally someone comes with the bright idea. Amazing! The beads not only make it easier to change the strings but also safer. It prevents the slip that quite often breaks the heart of most guitarists. Last but not least, it looks much neater with we use the beads, also the beauty of the small plate where you tie the strings becomes visible.❤

    I use these beads on my nylon string guitar (same Taylor Academy as the one shown in this video) and I definitely recommend using them. However with carbon high tension strings, if you follow the instructions of the maker of the beads, the treble E and B strings won’t stay in the beads when you’ll tune your guitar just after the string replacement. The beads will be ejected from the guitar at high speed (as if you used a slingshot) and you’ll have hard time finding them in your room. You need to add an extra knot (which gives you a triple knot) to be able to use these beads for the high E and B strings.

    Now you can turn any Classical Guitar string set into a fully functional Ball end string set, & put it on those old Acoustic Guitars from the 17th & 18th centuries. Alot of people don't realize that those old Acoustic Guitars were designed for Gut strings (what would now be Nylon).

    Hi, I want to put these on my Ibanez FRH10N because when i knot the strings, they dig into the wood of the bridge too much. Is it safe to do it tho because now the tension doesnt come from the front of the bridge but from behind, basically. I wonder if it can do any harm to the bridge like lifting it or even detach

  • @AlanRoyHocking

    @AlanRoyHocking

    8 ай бұрын

    Hi Martin, the tension on the bridge is exactly the same with tie end or if you're using string beads. If it wasn't then the major string manufacturers like D'Addario or Martin wouldn't make Ball End Nylon Strings that pull from exactly the same place as string beads do. Hope that answers your question 👍
