Seems to me they’re doing just fine as a duo.
The sound of that old hard drive... I hope they did a back up of the samples stored on it.
Thank you for the music been a big fan since the 80s...❤️ from the Philippines 🇵🇭

Same here. Nung iniwan niya ang banda hindi na the same ang Depeche. He's vital to the band's sound.
Alan is a 100% musician and brain DM
Such an brilliant person. Thanks for sharing this Alan.
Wow, this brilliant from Alan, so interesting to hear those sounds on the keyboard, love it. He should go back to DM I think👍🏻
Oh, Uncle Alan, history will never forget you. You have created the greatest
It is priceless to see you Alan playing the emulator. I come to this video over and over with the time to enjoy seeing you remembering your riffs... "If you want", by the way, the best of your songs, and the best of DM too. Thanks for your work at DM Alan. Since you lest nothing was the same.
Everybody always talking of AW coming back to DM. No way! They should be crawling in the dust, begging for a chance to come to him!
genius of synth
Alan the rythym and soul of DM
I loved when you played drums ! ;-) cool, thank Alan
Alan, we miss you so much, you are so special, you are awesome. We love you Alan ❤❤
what a sound bloke! no ego, just seems really happy to share his stories and knowledge from the past!
that lyrics, that voice, that beat, that guitar,...they are just the best
Oh holy moly, the never let me down again rift.
still regretting discovering this after many years since its happening and not having the chance to even participate to the auction
When I was a teenager I used to go to the music store and try the Emax over and over again to play DM songs. This is the best video I've seen in KZread, period. Thank you !!!

Ah yes, a digital Mellotron. Cool. 😎
I LOVE YOU ALAN YOUR THE TALLENT IN DEPECHE!!!!
That version of I want you now, 7:40, that's great.
Thank you Alan!
He does magic with the keyboard!
Alan is so kind and talented, I'm wondering what made him leaving the band. This gets me emotional even though I'm a very new DM fan

+Cristina his other project he was working on, Recoil, he went with his instinct going to recoil. they were both coming up at the same time, he had to make a choice he couldn't be in 2 bands at the same time. Hope that answers your question.

He didn't think he was appreciated after all the work he did for the devotional tour and felt he wasn't getting any deserved recognition working in the studio producing and playing as a member of the band. Recoil didn't really have any bearing on his decision to leave DM.

If you watch the making of the album from 1985, the boys are all in the studio, then suddenly Martin and Dave decide to go on holiday, leaving Alan to finish the rest of the album on his own. Plus Fletch and him got into physical fights backstage, according to Dave. It's no wonder he left, really.

Dave Gahan being a dick...(but that was when he was heavily addicted...)
Someone buy him a table.
Come back my king, we need you 😢
I bet he and we would love to se him on that magnificent strange and an sold out stadium singing for him❤
I'll never forgive Gore's snubbing of Wilder after Wilder delivered to Depeche Mode their only #1 hit. I consider Wilder to be one of the pillars of the band. Without him, DM has just been kind of flailing after.
02:40, you know instantly what's coming next with two notes. 🙂
Maestro!
cant see this without goosebumps
They are a team. All are equally brilliant.

I love alot of music from other bands too! Talent is a God giving blessing isn't that awesome how music touches our hearts and minds!?
Please Return!!!!! In your band!!!! Forever DM!!!
I love you buddy...i cried when i watched you tell and sell...
Алан очень крутой музыкант. Его уход из DM был драмой для меня
9:25 SOFAD sound 😢 i love this remix
i miss the old 1990-93 sound of dm violator and 'songs' were the best from the soundscape viewpoint
DM were never same after Alan left
Alan i love you!....theres no Depeche without you...but ill follow your new music
Jeder Ton eine Erinnerung. Grossartig...
Alan i miss you!!! With love from Moskow!!!
It’s so cool to see that I’m not the only one who doesn’t know in what key I wrote a certain song 😂I tend to know covers a hell of a lot better than my own stuff. This man was the hard of the sound of DM!
I love him (Alan, the gorgeous and talented musician), but I couldn't kneel on a wooden floor like that, or any surface, my knees are rickety and I am 10 years younger than him!! He must be healthy to be able to do that!! (And what on earth is Martin Gore wearing in that clip?). Please come back to the music industry, Alan.
I wish that you, Martin and Dave created something for us...for the life.🙏💕
I was one of the last concerts with you in Berlin on June 16, 1993. Great performance and the end of DM withoiut you. You are The best. Regards. Your In Chains mix is the best. And swomebody in london.Beautiful.
Thank you Allan.....the most memorizing video ive ever seen in my life as a depeche fan ...blown away....i will follow yo allan musicaly....!!
Mister Depeche Mode is for me Alan, the distintive Sound was the best ,love it . That Time was without a doubt the best DM Time. Without Alan the Bands Music changed, was never ever so good in my Opinion. Depeche Mode Music was still good and successful but for me personally they lost their musically Identity, DNA and Style complete with Alans Lost

I agree ! you are absolutely right! and since Alan left the band , the Live performance aren´t never be the same...
I am not worthy but what I wouldn’t give to hang out with Alan and learn! And I’m not gonna lie, I would love to have THAT Emax II with all those sounds!!
Sample KING "It's all there" *wiggles fingers* I'm not crying, you're crying!
Such a brilliant and talented person.
Absolutely love Alan
He was the SOUND of Depeche Mode.
Heavens... I feel them! Danke Alan. Thanks Alan, you have delivered more than your best for your final work for dM, especially with IYR, including the video for the single, I also think that Anton has slowly "goodbye", too... with his own, personal, masterpiece!!
Как здорово, что есть возможность увидеть и услышать такие видео, прикоснуться к истории, в детстве можно было только мечтать о таком видео! Спасибо огромное за видео!
You look familar ! I've got to have that rug! What lovely color
Mr.Wilder the Synth"s Geniuses
Alan we love you:)
Why am I only seeing this now!! I would have loved to get my hands on one of your old synths!! And that record collection... I"m so envious!
Ten gość to jest Depeche Mode. On tym żyje. Bez niego to nie ten zespół. Jak długo Gahan tego nie zrozumie bo Martin już od dawna o tym wie. Bez Alan nie ma przebojów i muzyki w radio
Super Typ. Dank für diese Kreativität. Genial. ❤️
