Only just found this, many thanks - it's excellent, and I so enjoyed it. We all know Alan was very sexy, and I'm not immune, but I always thought what a really kind, nice man he was and what a wonderful friend to have, he is so missed.

Kevin Costner was at the zenith of his career, had misfired as Robin Hood, had made some enemies along the way, and critics were out for blood. One quote from Alan Rickman, who they tried to bait, stands out from that time. It's not exact, but close: "Kevin worked damned hard on this movie. He occupies a place surrounded by a very slippery slope, and there are some nasty people in this business." I don't remember which interviewer he said that to, but I've never forgotten it. A refusal to join in the fray from a very classy man. And I've never been a Kevin Costner fan.

It cut off but it ended a few seconds after, there's no other part available. This can be found on the Prince of Thieves dvd (the 2-discs version).

Always loved alan rickmans acting. Side note though, the story of robin hood is kinda like an analogy for socialism/communism. This story stands the test of time cause its the same abusive government crap since the beginning of civilization. Robin hood wasn’t stealing from rich people that earned their money he was stealing the unnecessary tax money back from the government of the time and returning it to its rightful owners. The rich who are not hurting anyone aren’t the problem, socialist/communist and their dushbag politicians are the problem. They think they are entitled to other peoples labor and belongings. They think human beings cant be individuals with responsibility for behavior. Joe biden technically is todays sheriff of nottingham. If you think about it alan rickmans character in this movie sounds exactly like andrew cuomo or diblasio, or you can throw in just about any dushbag socialist(degenerate bully) politician who is representing them today.

Not attractive to me but a good actor who understands that if you are going to tell a fictional story, you need to believably tell a believable story to the audience and listeners and that you need to learn to improve.
