Dershowitz is litigating Trump's limitless perfidy and pushing this as political. The real crime was Trump used corporate money for campaign purposes- and then kept on doing financial crimes, time after time. Trump has avoided paying taxes for decades, and used his company money for personal uses for decades. A.W. showed the criminal nature of Trump.

Further, Dersh is missing the point. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN ARIZONA ATTEMPTED TO STEAL MY VOTE AT TRUMP'S DIRECTION AND AS THE PRIME CONSPIRATOR HE SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR THAT CRIME- FAKE ELECTORS WAS STEALING MY VOTE, PERIOD. THE PARTY SHOULD BE OUTLAWED AS A RESULT OF THIS.

I was a producer for a major network during the OJ trial. I interviewed neighbors of the jurors before the verdict. The issue was that the cops had been so brutal in East l.a., for so long, that they’d lost all legitimacy for the jurors from those areas. And those jurors convinced the rest that cops often planted evidence. Lesson: loss of legitimacy due to cops past misbehavior may affect future verdicts.

He brings the gloves down to OJs cell after court that day and has him try them on without surgical gloves and they truly didn't fit. They would fit like a glove on OJs son Jason's hands though. Allen not only knows OJ didn't do it, he knows who actually did and just doesn't want to open that huge can of worms with all the ridicule that would come from it.

IMO…. Trump is a Benevolent Narcissist and his supply is the love and admiration of the people. This is not necessarily a bad thing because he has to do things that benefit the people in order to win and maintain their love, support, and approval; however, we should never allow this to lull us into a false sense of security. We have a responsibility to keep our government in check, no matter who is running the show. I think the reason he gets that Love/Hate reaction from so many people is because he can be so arrogant, snarky and childish; and, he doesn’t give a rats a$$ if he offends people. He is also not a politician, he is a business man and that makes him a threat to the other politicians because he’s not willing to play their BS games. He has been playing on the World stage with the most powerful people in the world and he used to getting his way most of the time so he’s not threatened or impressed with our little politicians. He treats them like employees rather than equals, and they hate him for that. All of this being said, he is a far better option than Biden; however, he is not perfect and he can only do so much, especially when so many others are working against him. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out, and whether or not he can win another term.

For me, it's very simple. I judge the art, not the artist. Biden is more 'Presidential' than Trump. He hasn't slept with pornstars or endorsed grifters like those that ran Trump University. But he has appointed people based on genitals, skin colour and transgender status over merit. That's a tangible problem significantly more important than how presidential he is. Trump is possibly the most... 'murican President. Who presided over the Abraham peace accords, lit a fire under the economy to end stagflation and cause 'overemployment'. On policy, it's hand down no contest. Strong border control and no new wars are massive differences in governance.

I don’t think it is helpful to start from the perspective of your radical woke when they think everybody not them are fascist as you may lose sight in how Republican Party has been changing. The right appears to have a kind of purification process similar to woke where if you’re not for Trump you are a RINO, part of the “swamp”. Jan 6 rationalized away as if nothing would be another example. Feel free to disagree, but I get the idea that radicalism/sensationalism is winning and people are starting to be cult-like in their thought process leading to more reactivity that pushes people further right. You can think of German revolution after ww1 where left and right were bolstering each other to become ever more radical.

He’s not a war hero,” said Trump. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” The remarks, which came after days of back-and-forth between McCain and Trump, were met with scattered boos. McCain, a former Navy pilot, spent roughly five-and-half years in a notorious North Vietnamese prison known as the “Hanoi Hilton,” where he was repeatedly tortured. He spent two of those years in solitary confinement. At a press availability following his remarks, Trump denied saying that McCain isn’t a war hero and said, “If somebody’s a prisoner, I consider them a war hero.” He also continued his attacks on the Arizona senator, saying, “I think John McCain’s done very little for the veterans. I’m very disappointed in John McCain.”

38:07 this is a key issue. Silencing others speech a sign of a weak argument. The fact that even the institutions are functioning this way means that we can not have innovation. In order to be creative and productive you must know who disagrees with you. Each side of a disagreement needs to be understood as containing a kernel of truth. We can not uncover that truth without argument. Free speech is the basis of discovery. Without discovery there can be no innovation. Without innovation we will fall into a new dark age.
