Whatever the storyline, Sheen and Allan's interactions were funny. Kutcher was never funny, and the way they exaggerated Allan's character to compensate for Kutcher's poor performances made Allan a whole lot less funny as well. True of the other characters who were all turned up a notch to compensate for Kutcher being disliked by most fans. Allan plus Charlie worked. Allan plus whats his name did not work.
